Most Children Lacking Vitamin D

My 4 year old son has recently been diagnosed as anemic and his little teeth are rotting away even with brushing 2-3 times a day. I am terrified and angry that he may have "M" and it's from me. It's not like I can get him to gargle DSP mouthwash or other remedies that I can tolerate. Dentist wants to hospitalize him to cap his teeth. someone has to figure this thing out! Babies are suffering!

I have NEVER heard of capping baby teeth! Maybe your dentist wants you to put a kid through college!

I think you should have a nutritional analysis done on him - see what vitamins, minerals he is lacking.

On another note, I wonder why there is such an explosion of vitamin D deficiencies. I was deficient before M exploded (though I know I had it long before I knew I did). My doc prescribed high levels of D, and it hardly affected my blood level - but I DID explode with M.

I think M needs vit D. Calcium and calcite has been found in the fibers - is vit D needed in the same way to produce these things?

So my last point is this: If vitamin D deficiencies are rampant, how many people are developing M? Vitamin D has been added to milk for a long, long time.

PS - I was in the sun A LOT that year, and didn't use sublock. Also took supplements. I'm sure the disease was eating it up.
