| Hi guys, Dont think we've got a thread dedicated to Rheumatoid arthritis, so thought it deserved one. Its cause is unknown (but its kinda thought to be an autoimmune disease ).Like some of you, the more I learn about the 'newer' chronic diseases, (that are a medical mystery), the more I think morgellons will become a pandoras box. I had a training session which touched on it, so thought I'd share what was said: Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) ![]() Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is chronic, systemic inflammatory disorder - causing inflammation of joints, but also organs, tissues, and causes nodule like lesions under the skin. It is very different from Osteo arthritis, in fact RA, should not be called 'Arthritis', but Rheumatoid Disease, because it affects the whole body. RA can appear in joints: knuckle, wrist, knee, shoulder, neck, elbow, hip, ankle, toe - v. common in hands and feet. The signs of inflammation can include pain, swelling, redness, and a feeling of warmth around affected joints. In our joints is synovial fluid - which reduces the friction when we move (same principle as oil in machines). In joints with RA, there are foreign cells in the fluid - "on the scans, it looks as though a little creature is nibbling away at the bone" - (the trainers EXACT words). ![]() ![]() Osteo arthritis only appears in joints used for many years OR overused - Eg. it does NOT appear in knuckles (Unless we knitt for years on end!!) Women are three times more likely to get RA than men. Onset is most frequent in 40 to 50 years, but no age is immune. Some patients with RA make a miraculous recovery by having injections of gold. Rheumatoid arthritis - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Injections of pure gold could ease arthritis | Mail Online _________________________________________________ Why do we, with Morgellons, have aching joints?? - it cant be osteo arthritis... I've started taking MSM and glucosamine sulphate and my joints (hips, knees, ankles) gave me pain for a few days, but are now fab - no aching and they move easier. Actor James Coburn reportedly claimed MSM "cured" his rheumatoid arthritis: James Coburn "Cured" Of Rheumatoid Arthritis? Anyone with an allergy to 'sulphur' should consider whether the allergy is actually caused by the morg elements, that hate the stuff, reacting to it. Cuz as 2Many Fibers will tell ya, no one is allergic to pure 'sulphur'. msm for pain/depression much more! Enough! ooops sorry its a long post (lol) one final thought...maybe we should try gold therapy? Jo xxx |

| Jo, this brings to mind something that has been on my mind ever since learning that micro-organisms are the cause of all diseases. Years ago, I had a friend who used to buy yard sale goods sometimes if they were antiques and refinish them. It was shortly after she re-upholstered an old chair that she became very ill and eventually diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. Last year some friends and I were discussing her and I mentioned the reason for her RA was no doubt the old mites and fungi in the old stuffing, and someone said my mind was working overtime. Typical. Kritts |

| wow - that's interesting Kritts, you're on the case - shame people dont see these connections. Good point about second hand goods there. I think about all the clothes in charity shops being heavily contamined....ummm garage sales, car boot sales, ebay, pet stores that take unwanted pets. shheeesh Jo xxx |

| lest we forget the NEW goods, Jo.... China.....other 3rd world countries that make our goods and ship them directly to us without any kind of inspections or even radiation before they cross into our countries. Critters ain't particular which country or how long they've been around. xoKritts |
