It would be really difficult for US citizens to overlook the huge "porkulus" spending package passed by Congress with its power grabbing provisions, including those involving health. There are a few with heads in the sand, but hopefully most of us are painfully aware of the future fight (writing letters of protest to those who passed this, hopefully replacing some who voted for this with new faces in future elections) we face to have government countermand some of what has been written.

Morgellons has proved that method doesn't work TC.
This bill includes health reforms that will make the way we have been treated acceptable.
Doctors have to follow what the government computer tells them,or face the penalty.
We all know this has been going on for a while but now it's the law.
God only knows what else is in there as it is thousands of pages long and no one has read it all yet.

Smile "It ain't over till it's over." -- Yogi Berra

Wise words from a baseball great. Even the link you posted has some statements which show that this organization has plans to try to right this gravely erroneous wrong. True, nothing will change if we sit and say "There is nothing to be done." I believe that it possible to effect change, but it takes enough of us to see that change is urgently needed and then do something to bring it about.

"The price of freedom is eternal vigilance." -- Thomas Jefferson

There have always been those who want to take freedom away in blatantly obvious grabs, always by power hungry, corrupt men which appears to describe most of those currently in power in Washington today.

Here are the words from the end of the article in the link you provided in your post just prior to mine. I think the person who wrote this also feels that it worth trying to change what is unacceptable to most Americans, the intrusion of government into individual health status:

"If you're looking for REAL solutions, stay tuned to NaturalNews.com. We are only a few days away from launching our new health freedom petition which demands real health care reform and an end to the dark era of Big Pharma domination over health care.

That petition will be announced right here on Natural News."

I posted this next quote before on this forum and it still is as true as when the words were first uttered by Edmond Burke (British stateman):

"All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing."

Rather than ringing our hands in despair it seems time to do something positive to bring about change. Perhaps signing this future petition is a place to start. If we do nothing then assuredly nothing will change. Unless we express dissatisfaction then we can certainly expect more of the same. Remember that at some point the Soviets occupied half of Germany and yet the Berlin wall still came down without a lot of people being killed. So even against enormous government opposition it is possible to bring about change in the world. In order to do so it is necessary to believe we can. We can make our lives matter if we try.

Another statement from the British PM, made under enormously overwhelming odds against Nazi Germany:

"Never, never, never, never give up." Winston Churchill

In these perilous times, as indeed they are, we need to hear these words more than ever and hold them in our hearts.

Hopefully vitamin B6 is safe for now. I looked up some information on it and found that the chemical compound that the FDA allowed to be patented is pyridoxamine dihydrochloride which is one of at least 3 different forms of vitamin B6. From what I can tell most vitamin manufacturers use a very similar form of vitamin B6 called pyridoxine hydrochloride rather than pyridoxamine dihydrochloride (note the difference in spellings – a slight chemical difference between them). Thus, for the time being, vitamin B6 will hopefully remain readily available to the general public in the form of supplements. Here is some information from Wikipedia on pyridoxine that explains the differences in various forms of vitamin B6 to some extent:

Pyridoxine - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Pyridoxine is one of the compounds that can be called vitamin B6, along with Pyridoxal and Pyridoxamine. It differs from pyridoxamine by the substituent at the '4' position. It is often used as 'pyridoxine hydrochloride'.

I do agree that it is incredibly corrupt, stupid and irresponsible for the FDA to allow a drug company to patent a naturally occurring nutrient found in foods as a supposed prescription drug. I also think we need to be all the more vigilant in defending our abilities to have unfettered access to vitamin / mineral supplements so we do have to stay on top of stories like this. The FDA (and other corrupt government bureaucracies) has proven time and again that it is actively attempting to gain control over the supplement industry (which would effectively make natural nutrients from food in the form of supplements unavailable without a prescription). This is yet another blatant government grab for power that would greatly harm the citizens of America (and other countries) and concentrate more power in the hands of a corrupt government and pharmaceutical industry.

Thanks for the info Fibers. But it is the most common form they have banned. For those of us who can't afford to buy now in bulk how long before this effects us?

Post b6

Hi Carls:
I heard the same thing. It's confusing, but I was told it's a purified molecule and it won't affect us in supplement of B6. It's a concern though, in terms of future problems that might occur.

As a kid i was given chewable brewer's yeast. Seemed like mosquitos did not bite me as much. I wonder if there is truth to that or just a myth?

Post brewer's yeast

hi LC:
The problem with brewer's yeast is the fungus/mold aspect of it. One of the ways I learned long ago that I had intolerance to mold was through ingesting brewer's yeast. It's nice to see your posts again. Up until lately, I've been away for a while.
