NLM Technical Bulletin. 2008 Nov–Dec And see this Page, for Morgellons: Morgellons Disease This would be something to take to our dermatologists and infectious disease consultants ! | Guys and gals....I am choosing to look at this development in a positive manner. I believe it is the beginning of some good things for our cause. It comes at an opportune time in my opinion. Just after the CDC sends letters to all state health departments? and Morgellon's Watch shuts down their site all in just a few short weeks time? Sometimes it helps to be just a little bit hopeful. Here are a couple things to look at. Follow-Ups from October 30 Meeting Advisory Committee to the Director Meeting—A meeting summary will be available soon. █ In response to public comments regarding Morgellons disease, CDC is sending a letter to all state medical associations that offers an overview of CDC’s activities and resources related to this condition. █ The next Advisory Committee to the Director meeting is on April 30, 2009. NIH Office of Rare Diseases (ORD) - Undiagnosed Diseases Program I have just been trying to keep up with the last link....hoping they will eventually invite some Morgellon's patients into some study....any would be great in my opinion. Love and prayers to you all!! Niecy

| Niecy - I think we all are viewing these developments in a positive light. I do know someone who had all kinds of great medical records, doctors who believed him, verified strongyloids in his throat & lungs - but was denied participation in the NIH undiagnosed diseases program because he had a diagnosis - MORGELLONS!!! So I guess they were acknowledging Morgellons even then! I am still holding my breath, though, until I read the CDC final report. I just don't trust them. | The biggest obstacle we face is the HUGE amount of money that is being made off of all the side symptoms of this malady. The drug companys can not STOP further investigation but surly they can stiffle it. Can you imagine the sickness in the minds of the people that take money as a reward to hinder progression of the cure of this disease. My opinion cancer is a symptom of this, maybe not all of us get it right away, but just look at the incidence of it these days. Then after they cut the main tumor out it shows up thruout the body, my idea on that furthered by study of the blood after tumor removal says the large cancer tumor puts out a fluid (hmmmm YELLOW FLUID???) that is thought to control the size of the little ones, when you take out the fluid the cancers that are thruout the body, brain, liver, spine, pancreous start growing, growing real fast. Then take alook at all the tv ad drugs they mimic our SYMPTOMS. The one real things we have going for us is our voices, helping each other, calling out to those in power when they become ill, so they can also recall this was not the first thing that plagued them, President Clinton, Bush, Ted Kennedy, Britanny Spears, Bertie Mack, Patrick Swayze, and many more. I contacted my friend last night that is fighting pancreous cancer, out of the blue he said to me, I HAVE ALSO, LYMES DISEASE. I told him long ago to be tested. I can not just burst out and yell at everyone I see and tell them about this or my affliction BUT, first and formost I do try to convince them to get Lymes tested because of the incidece of it I see in this forum. Oh well what else is new, LOL. |
