Default Morgellons Research Foundation

Does anyone know why the MRF has been so quiet?
They have not had a newsletter in over a year.
The Phase 2 study was announced a year and a half ago, and they had (I think) 9 scientists working on it. But there have been no announcements or updates on this.
Even the "registered households" number has not changed in months.
Are they still active, does anyone know?

SS, I have no idea why anyone (MRF) would drop out unless they have no new information.

Clifford Carnicom is still working on "M". Aerosol Crimes and I believe he is making some progress.

I appreciate your support group and hopefully my daughter & I will come visit soon!

In the white light,
~jonsi

Hi SS,

Good to 'see' you again. I wonder if they are concentrating on a second journal paper. That seemed the bigger plan, when Dr W was talking about their research - first paper on definition of morgs and second paper on WHAT morgs is. Back then (about 18 months ago) it was a nematode angle they were concentrating on - and involving a vet in their research.

I've sent a few emails to find out if they're still operating.

Hope you're doing ok and still enjoying the golf.

Jo xx

Hi, Jonsi & Jo - missed you guys! (and the group as a whole).

Our support group has not met for 3 months, due to conflict with Dr. Reed's schedule. We are planning the next meeting and HOPE we will have a dermatologist there and put on a show for him using the 2 soap extraction method and an eyeclops projected onto a screen...lol...
But I will announce this when we are ready to go.

Still playing golf, in this dreadful heat and humidity. Playing like crap because of it, but my game picks right up as soon as it gets into the mid 80's. Can't wait for late Sept!

I hope that you'll let me know when the next meeting is.....it's been a while I have some new things to share and would love to see you! We should talk soon. Are you using the 2 soap method? I still use it - it keeps my skin feeling "normal" if you want to call it that ... hee hee! Glad the forum is back up

Default 2 soap method

Hi Janice,
The 2 soap method is done by applying Pedifix Tea tree soap (fungasoap) on you skin and then, without rinsing, apply Endure 300 on top of the Fungasoap. You just use circular motions and rub it around for a couple minutes. It will ball up anything in the skin and draw it out. I use it a couple times a week while in the shower.

I find that it really helps in removing the biofilm and smoothing out all the little bumps and weird textures that my skin gets. It's quite amazing actually and has been one of the only things that has consistently helped to reduce my lesions (of course we all know the internal aspect of good diet, ect... must be addressed as well)

It's also good to help find other trouble spots on your body where you don't have lesions because when you apply the soaps, you will get a lot of goo in your hand. Some spots on my body I don't get much of anything, other spots I get tons of stuff out.....It's really weird, don't know how it works but it does.

Best prices I've found (for bulk orders)
foothealth.com - Fungasoap (around $13.00/large bottle)
buyemp.com - Endure 300 (around $7-8/bottle)

Default 2 soap method

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions - takes a little getting used to, but you'll know when you've got it right....it's quite amazing and a little goes a long way. The first time I tried it, I must have been in the shower for like 2 hours.....couldn't stop! Just remember fungasoap first (DO NOT RINSE) Endure second, then rub around.... do the same spot at least 3 times as each time you'll see that you get a little more. Took me about 2 months of using it a couple times a week to get some spots to stop producing anything.

Just keep in mind that it's very drying (which is a plus for the lesions) so what I do is when I get out of the shower, I spray some of the twin labs NA-PCa spray on (it's the natural "moisturizing" element found in skin) this way you don't have to get all greasy as we all know that can be a problem with our skin. If I get really dry then I mix some jojoba oil in with a really light organic body cream and rub that on after the spray.

If you find that this works for you and you are going thru a lot, then there are some savings to be had:
Foot health offers free shipping on orders $70.00 or more (6 bottles of large fungasoap)
Buy emp offers free shipping and no handling charge ($10.00) on orders of $100.00 or more. If you go to Endure 300 they offer a case price (12 bottles) that comes out to being just under $100.00 so I go back and add one more single bottle (13 bottles total) and then you save shipping and handling.

It's a lot to spend at one time but a big savings if you end up feeling the need to have many bottles.

Can't wait to hear the feedback of your experience.....good luck!
