Ummm...."the Eagle has landed"....

If I can look at this from a different perspective, I hope that whoever is implicated in the development and dissemination of Morgellons gets a dose of it themselves. (The basic message being "you reap what you sow").

It is an awful reality of Morgellons that it will not get the attention it deserves until more people of considerable fame come down with this - and have the courage to really speak out about it.

I for one am VERY glad to see this.

Sometimes for newcomers it is an overwhelming task to sift through all the info, much less even find it.

YES, it is very abnormal this is not on the news every day.

Which brings to the mind of us delusionals, WHY? Something very wrong is going on. We certainly are not given the credibility for our intelligence which we deserve. Or maybe admitting to our legitimacy is something which is feared.

Is there a cover up?, I don't know but my mind is open to anything at this point. This is one area where my husband is VERY narrow minded.

As the article states, it takes over the household. These fibers are all around my home. Mostly in basement. They are outside, in garage, and they also appear to grow out of wood?!

Am I nuts? Absolutely not.

For some curious people I may meet, I just simply tell them I have a problem the world is not ready for yet; meaning it has not yet been brought out into the open and fully recognized.

God works all things for the good. I want to live this trial in His Glory and pray for this daily; for strength and what it is I am to learn from it.

I am not sure how I can ever believe that Morgellons, even when it was at its worst in my own case, is the worst illness that has ever been on the earth. Or that it is so widespread that it should be on the news every day as a central focus. Some illnesses are so devasting that the person dies within hours or days. There are more painful illnesses and illnesses which last just as long or longer. To allow this illness to consume me, even when I was sickest, would have been impossible at the time anyway. Despite being ill I had to function as best I could. I think there are many with this illness who have done the same. I have never hidden myself from view, even when at times I had bandages on my nose or face. Here’s a short excerpt from a longer discussion about illness. It is a good discussion about not allowing your illness to be who you are as a person:

“Allow the suffering to force you into the present moment, into a state of intense conscious presence. Use it for enlightenment.

Surrender does not transform what is, at least not directly. Surrender transforms you. When you are transformed, your whole world is transformed, because the world is only a reflection.

Illness is not the problem. You are the problem — as long as the egoic mind is in control.

When you are ill or disabled, do not feel that you have failed in some way, do not feel guilty. Do not blame life for treating you unfairly, but do not blame yourself either. All that is resistance.

If you have a major illness, use it for enlightenment. Anything "bad" that happens in your life — use it for enlightenment.

Withdraw time from the illness. Do not give it any past or future. Let it force you into intense present-moment awareness — and see what happens.

Become an alchemist. Transmute base metal into gold, suffering into consciousness, disaster into enlightenment.

Are you seriously ill and feeling angry now about what I have just said? Then that is a clear sign that the illness has become part of your sense of self and that you are now protecting your identity — as well as protecting the illness.

The condition that is labeled "illness" has nothing to do with who you truly are.”

Transforming Illness and Suffering

Given sufficient time I hope some here will read the entire short excerpt from the quoted book. This is why I feel it is so important not to wish harm on others, especially those who have nothing to do with ones illness, because in the end the harm s/he wishes on others will only find its way back to that person, increasing his/her own suffering. Yes, then the eagle will have landed, yet again, but even more so than is already perceived as it will have done so more than once. So in this sense, yes, whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.

Your post has much wisdom and inspiration...however....if that is true, then I brought this on myself. So did my cat, and so did my birds, some of them just dropping dead during the height of this.

I did not wish Morgellons on anyone....I never heard of it when I got it. I was not perfect (who was??), but I never threw a baby out the car window, or swindled a vulnerable older person, or tortured animals or children. I worked hard in my life and (like many) had a lot of adversity to overcome.

Why do babies or little children get this?

Why doesn't Bernie Madoff have it?

If the lifetime balance sheets zero out, the math is not visible to me.
