Sponges reminds me of those Buff Puff singles. They were little squares with the Cleanser built right into them. I used them all the time. Then Walmart and places I used to be able to buy them quit carrying them. I always wondered if there was some kind of recall? The only place I can find them anymore is at drugstore.com I had quit using them for the 3 years I couldn't find to buy them. It's probably nothing, but I had wondered a time or two. ![]() |

| There are 4 posts in total on my blog, for those interested (I saw an earlier link to one of them) You have to click on the text "Morgellons - A Mundane Approach" to see all of them ... I would post the urls to all of them but you cannot until you have made 15 posts, a good rule actually. Here are the titles ... 1) Does this identification mean anything? I do not know 2) Mr. Morgellons meet Mr. Meth, Your Distant Cousin 3) Permethrin Cream with Toluene and Insect Vectors 4) Nanotubes – Could they play a role in our Disease? | the cdc has updated, or added a couple things to their page on unexplained dermopathy. can't post url sure everyone knows how to get there cdc.gov unexplained dermopathy How long will the investigation take? The investigation is occurring in phases. During the first part of the study, the investigators identified and recruited eligible study participants and collected detailed information on participants' symptoms and potential factors or exposures that may contribute to the condition. In the second part of the study, eligible participants underwent detailed clinical evaluations. What is the current status of the investigation? Study recruitment, collection of survey data and the clinical examinations have been completed. Testing of blood and other samples is underway and data analysis will follow. No study results are available at this time. click to return the top of this page Will the investigation include treatment for participants? No, this study will not involve treatment. However, eligible participants will receive detailed clinical evaluations, including a general medical examination, a dermatology examination, a mental health examination, skin biopsies, and multiple blood tests. CDC does not maintain a referral list of providers and can not refer patients to specific health care providers. However, persons seeking treatment for a medical condition may be able to identify an appropriate physician in their area by using online physician locators that have been established by professional medical societies such as the American Medical Association* or the American Academy of Dermatology*. THIS LAST ONE IS VERY INTERESTING How will CDC communicate information about this condition and its investigation? CDC will update this website as new information becomes available. When results are available from CDC’s investigation, they will most likely be published in a peer-reviewed scientific journal and disseminated through other channels. In December 2008, CDC mailed letters to state medical associations, in case they and their members have received inquiries about this condition, in order to provide an update about CDC’s activities. Adobe PDF Document Letter from CDC to medical association (PDF – 45 KB) could be articles on dop but hopefully not |

| I just realized what a stalling tactic that announcement (in red in previous post) is. It'll take months to get something into print (in a journal) and will not have the public presence this horror deserves. Oh, this just gets more suspicious all the time!!!
