Well, at last they've recognised what everyone else has known for years. Will they take as long to recognise Morgellons ??

I tried to call CDC to tell them my finding on this illness and what I believe to be the cause but they told me I could only email them. I did and no reply.

Then I tried to contact the company that CDC has hired to look into this, and there was no one again to talk to.

Then I contacted the US gov agency for contagious diseases. I spoke with a girl who told me there was a doctor there that had worked on it with the CDC for a while, but no longer. She said he would be very interested in my findings and would have him contact me. He did not.

She also told me that all research had been postponed and was not currently taking place.

SO . . .that means we are on our own for now and can only help each other.

What's your theory on what Gulf War Illness is?

Sorry, didn't mean to imply it was on the Gulf War, it was regarding Morgellons cause. I haven't written my theory because it seems most of what I've read here, everyone believes it has something to do with a disease or parasite. I've learned through the years, that trying to tell others that their opinions are completly different than yours, is not always received well. I do not wish to offend anyone as I feel everyone's opinion is valuable. In the beginning, when it felt like a worm was burrowing through my upper underside of my ear, I was positive I had a whip worm, so I understand the opinion that it is a live parasite! But it was not.

I've suffered may symptoms on and off for many years. It was only in the past year that all the sores that wouldn't heal and all the bleeding, unable to sleep nights got way out of hand. My memory was so bad, I was certain I would be in a nursing home soon with Altzheimers.

I've sought many doctors and had lots and lots of tests run, only to be sent home with little or no help. I've been blood tested, scanned, scoped from both ends, had lots of eye tests, allergy tests, etc. All to no avail.

Since it seemed medical doctors, obgyn, nutritionalists, alternative doctors DO's, acupuncture and phychologists could not help, I almost gave up.

But now I'm almost well. I've run my theory past a doctor, Dr. Z. Leah Harris at John Hopkins that is a molecular biologist and has 4 other medical degress. She confirmed my observations were accurate. So I feel confident I am correct, however, convincing others is not easy when the only test to truely confirm this is a liver biopsy. I doubt any of you have had this or want to.

If anyone want's my theory, I'll be happy to offer, but I do not want to offend, only help. You have to realize that the Herx theroy will completly pertain to getting well from this:

We have now based our ideas on what others call a SKIN disease, it is called Morgellons, that is just a very tiny tiny tiny outward sign of what is eating us from within. The first VERY first recongnition of the true malady is AGENT ORANGE. I do believe that the powers that be know that the Vietnam vets are troubled NOT BY A CHEMICAL agent but by disease. What was in these airplanes that flew over the soldiers, hmmmmmmmmmmmmm, was it always defoiliation chemical, maybe and maybe not. Our government has been known to along with its mad scientist to spray contagions apon small and large citys. I imagine the more virulent they feel it is the smaller the area they will attack. The only thing that brought this to a head was the fact that it messed with our beauty.

You remember people being called hypocondriacs DON'T you, you remember joining in and saying, yea they have everything in the book, don't even mention health around them because they already had it or are getting it. I TEND TO BELIVE ALL HYPOCONDRIACS NOW!! They most likely were the people that recieved this FIRST or were less able to fight off the symptoms of this disease. It is a internal disease a killer and really should not even be called MORGELLONS that is considered a skin disease and should be handled by what, a dam dermatologist, if this is the case sombody PLEASE KILL ME. Wait a minute, better idea kill all the DERMATOLOGISTS, they are near useless anyway. These doctors are a sham, they treat the covering of the body when really disease is from within.

That is like putting acid inside a bottle made only for water, sooner than latter it will spring a small leak, then a bigger leak, then just melt away, what do you do stand outside the bottle wraping acid proof tape around the bottle or transfer it into a acid proof bottle stopping all leaks. This explains all doctoring these days. I am watching now as a woman is murdered by a doctor, she has a table of drugs, she no longer cares about herself and has lost her drive to live. This woman was the wife of a Vietnam Vet that already has died from the symptom cancer!!!! I went the other day to help her and saw her very poor condition, mentally and physicly. She will not live much longer. The empty pill bottles lay about the floor below a table FILLED with new full bottles of prescriptions.

Did I say anything, yes, but she is doctor doomed, the pill will save me, gotta change some of them for sure to other kinds was her answer. was there a tiny bit of real food around, no, just the manufactured kind. She will be dead in less than a year I am afraid. There are a few of us here that have came back from this situation, just a very few, I pray for all of us that we never take the route this woman has chosen, letting DOCTORS seal your fate. Was it agent orange she caught from her husband, you be the judge. I will say this, it seems that the strain of this from the 1970s is not as virulent as todays faster moving and multiple symptom form of it.


My type is from this area and even though I have fibers forming in the goo, tey are tiny and you must use a jewlers loop to see them. Todays stronger form has fuz balls coming out of the skin, is it because the people with this form are the children of infected people and from birth never had a chance to see it as an invader. Does the body of newborns accept this malady, looking at the new borns I can see some certainly do not. The fact of the matter is, children are being born more often with adult disease, why could that be, hmmmmmmm.

Doglover offers alot of good imformation, there can be no health without the correct ammunition, this is a fact. In the body a LACK or EXCESS of things can send the body reeling. I did alot of this sort of doctoring with Vitamins, Minerals, herb, spices and just plain old good eating. There is a line that can be crossed, either way, but their is also a method to take when administering these. Doglover seems to be taking a aproach of organization, meaning she is doing her homework and maybe helping us with ours.

There is one tiny tiny organ we have in our body that without it we would die, that organ is the thyroid. It starts alot of other things to happen down the line, many of the morgs people will test positive for an imbalance in this organ. Even though I feel correct nutrition and exersize are paramount in fighting this thing back to a controlable level, there is no doubt in my mind that there IS a invader inside us that is forming all these unknown cause fibrous materials.

There are possibilitys of anything but we should never assume anything. Doglover thank you for bringing my sights once again to nutrition and helping with your attention to detail on the method of application of these materials.

I too would love to hear your theory. No one knows yet what this is, there are many theories, but no facts as of yet.

Most of the people on this board are not going to have a problem with your theory even if they disagree with it.

It is unusual for someone to be offended by another offering an opinion; it is only when that opinion is offered as FACT that it becomes offensive. I can site very recent examples of that.
