I just want to throw this out there: From reading the work that the very few doctors and scientists who bother with Morgellons have made available on the internet, it seems that people suffering from Morgellons have nutritional needs somewhat different from the "normal" person. The Morgellons machine, if you will, utilizes various nutrients that it "takes" from us. I sure am not saying I have the answer to the dilemma this poses, i.e., do we "starve" it, and consequently deprive ours bodies, or feed our bodies and give the big M what it needs? I have read several times that structural calcium, vit D, and potassium are all used as building blocks (along with silica, which is in abundance in our diets as well as other nutrients). I was prescribed very high doses of Vit D just before my M exploded (and my blood level only went up one point). Was that the "missing ingredient"? Food for thought... SS

We are poking in the dark for answers right now, we are finding slowly but surly what spurs it on and what slows it down. We have found some things that do work, others will follow. I like all the opinions and people that say their way is working, but working from what point of the disease, how well and on what symptom. the whole gambit is good, they do all the work and I am privy to their findings, I would like all imformation, some I don't agree with but that is my problem not the person that thinks it. I will try not to be a NAY SAYER after all it is up to all of us as individuals to make our choice as informed adults.

Btw - one of the most important "building blocks", according to Dr. Staninger's work, is petrochemicals. Plastic is made from these chemicals, and the fibers and other structures are various types of plastics. So probably the most critical ingredient is the ONE that we do NOT need. May explain why exposure to pesticides (petrochemicals) is a major trigger for Morgellons. SS
