Thanks RWS I've submitted a question, asking why dermatologists from all over the world are invariably so frightened when they come across a patient with these symptoms and almost always suggest they go away and . see a psychiatrist without even examing the patient's skin don't suppose it will get asked tho' or even less answered.. !!! but it would be interesting to hear what the dermatology professor, Jeffrey Merffert has to say !! My daughter was able to post two questions/comments and I was able to make a comment.

His comment to my daughter's second question infuriates me!

Dr. Jeffrey Meffert: There was an indication in your letter that, rather than having a condition such as chronic staph, scabies, or lice which may be transmitted from person to person, that your problem may have progressed to delusional parasitosis which is not contagious.
