Default Recent Atlanta based article on Morgellons

It's possible someone may have already mentioned this article on here. I found this one interesting as we finally have a new CDC spokesperson who has replaced Dan Rutz. Maybe poor Mr. Rutz is tired of being the much "shot at" messenger of our scourge. Can't say I blame him.

Also the Dec 9 article cites a Kaiser Feb-March project commencement date. I am assuming this postponement from original Nov '07 commencement date, "pre-Bush veto". If anyone call tell me otherwise, please do.

Happy perusing:

Hi E-jay,

These sections in the article got my attention:

As the result of reading a Sunday Paper story about Morgellons, “Parasite, Prion—or Madness?” published on Nov. 25, Savely learned about prion research that might offer another explanation for Morgellons. A prion is an "Infectious disease" infectious agent composed only of "Protein" protein. A genetic predisposition for prions might explain why some Britons succumbed to Mad Cow disease in the 1990s, while others did not, though they were all eating the same beef.

Vitaly Citovsky, a professor of biochemistry and cell biology at SUNY, says only those who said they had Morgellons, not healthy subjects, tested positive in the agrobacterium studies.

I did a search on agrobacterium and up popped DeKalb and Monsato Corps. They were given approval (EPA) for bio-genetically engineered corn production in the late 1990's. Lots of money involved here folks. Lots of money. And, what if, in the name of science and feeding the world, there is a mutation that affects few and far between, called "Morgellons". Just a thought.

Does anyone have more information or insight on agrobacterium and prion?

Hey Jonsi~

Mutations and morphings have been part of many posts here as you probably know. The fact that the scientist are fooling with Mother Nature will come back to bite our future generations as they are us right now in their asses. Corn and soybeans are in effect, at this point, in altered states. Soy is no longer the alternative to meat people once appreciated. The chemistry has changed.

I had researched 'prions' a few months ago when someone I know stated her friend was dying from "Mad Cow" according to the doctor. Yes, it's a protein. It's an evil protein. And proteins are something I am now focusing attention on to see what makes them evil, such as gluten. But when I was researching, I came across an article which noted there are a few camps of thought with regard to speculation as to the cause of Mad Cow, one of which believes the implication of the pesticides which were administered to the food the cows ate is the cause of the mutated 'protein' or prion.

When I see articles by what is in my mind sources of questionable intent, that say genetics are involved, I suspect subversion. Genetics may be effected as a result of parasitic/toxic impact, but people try to make it seem the genes were the original culprits, which I wholeheartedly reject.

Since crops like corn and soy and products from cows and pigs continue to make big money for said industries, it's no wonder we don't have any definitive truths and answers. But we will.

Thank you Kritts,
I'm glad egg-nog season is finally over. I didn't care that it wasn't "organic" and drank a ton of it anyways. As a result, I have more stuff coming out of my skin (clear white mostly). Affirmation and confirmation to what ya put in your body for the morgs to feed on.

Back to organic milk, only! ~jonsi

Jonsi~

I wouldn't blame the milk alone here. Could be the alcohol and eggs had a role. If you want alcohol, I say drink vodka. It's pure and is a great disinfectant as well. I'm only kidding, though.

I was thinking more about the article quoted by Ms. Safley. Although her heart is definitely in the right place, I'm reading comments she makes and thinking, "major suppositions here". Genetic predisposition? They don't even know what causes this disease and are making a statement like that? That might explain why some succumbed to the disease and not others who were eating the same beef?????? ??? ??? ??? She should describe the same beef. One cow fed thousands of people? Like the loaves of bread in the bible feeding the masses? Don't think so. Not all cows were fed from the same place. As cow is not a cow is not a cow by any other name. So right there, we have so many variables which need clarification.

Cheers,
Kritts

"Does anyone have more information or insight on agrobacterium and prion?

~jonsi" To answer your question on this Jonsi YES I have done 1 blog and one general topic discussion related to prions, the latter one refers to Monsanto.

This one talks of prions and their link to disease: http://www.morgellons-disease-resear...og;u=100;id=29 .

This is the topic Millions Against Monsanto campaign: http://www.morgellons-disease-resear...hp?topic=491.0 .

Here is what pulled up on search in here regarding Agrobacterium: http://www.morgellons-disease-resear...action=search2 .

I hope this helps somewhat. (LC)

No offense intended to anyone here, but we can all google to get information on prions and agrobacteria and everything else we want to know.

I therefore ask Carla to eliminate my thread on "Rogue Proteins" since that will involve concentrated research and for me to begin a thread is ludicrous because we really do not know what to make of the information.

We are all just novices in research for something of personal interest.

Just google and if someone should be able to come up with something profound I'll be the first to celebrate.

Wow! This has my brain going "thump thump thump". What is it trying to tell me? Thanks a lot Kritts! You turn my brain on, which is good after the brain-fog.

No, (I/we) do not have the scientific engineering background to understand what is being done to our foods and air (the water is easy-uch). But as organisms, we are affected. What is the common link for those of us that have Morgellons? The polls are good but something is not being asked...or realized it should even be a question, not yet. This isn't in any book to refer to either... We Morgies are the new, we have to ask ourselves the questions, there is an answer in there somewhere.

(ps- I eat eggs and drink quite a bit, so I really think it is the dairy in the nog. And LC, please don't give me a link to an organic recipe for organic egg-nog cuz it is too fattening, maybe next year tho...haha!)
