Not sure exactly what biofilm is. This morning I had yellow goo stuck under my eye and embeded in this was those black fibers or specs. This was after a shower and shampooing with sadalliac acid shapoo. sammy

I was tested with Western Blot three consecutive years. All 10 bands were flat - nothing. And my CD57 is very healthy. I also never had Lyme symptoms, so I am sure I do not and never did have Lyme.

If you watch the videos biofilms are explained. Simply put, they are colonies of bacteria/fungus at various stages (cyst, spores, fully developed, etc) in a gel matrix. The film on your teeth when you wake up is an example. They are difficult to "kill" with antibiotics/antifungal because of the matrix, and have to be mechanically broken apart (like with a toothbrush). Just rinsing, even vigorously, with Listerine will not get rid of it.

The Western blot often gives false negatives though, so it might be good to do one using the Igenex testing which is more likely to catch it.

I remember reading an article from ILADS where it said that those people who have a negative Lyme test but show low CD levels are highly infected with Lyme since a longer period of time which is the 'tricky' part of the disease.

Right; as I said, my CD57 was very healthy. And I had the Lyme test 3 years in a row and there was NO reaction on any of the 10 bands, ever. I don't have Lyme, never did.

Sadsack, so you're one of the 'cases' that has Morgellons but not Lyme's Disease. Just like the 5 morgies in the UK who all tested negative. Wonder what their (docs working on this) theory is now regarding Morgellons being a co-infection to Lyme's?? Or is it perhaps the other way around?.....

Thank you Pat. I just had a WTF moment as I can trace every bizarre symptom amongst my gang to coincide with this time table! HFS!
I just don't know what to say.
