Well, here's a secret, girls....I cheated ;-) Google Translate ;-)

Wish I had that years ago when I used to go to Europe. But it will come in handy when I'm out somewhere around people speaking foreign languages.....

Yeah, but, I'm not using Google, so my German will be all messed up... I've decided to learn German. I know a few words already - uh... just the more important ones.

I asked Katj** if people with Morgellons who may be showing as negative on Lymes test, such as Eliza, might have one or more of the co-infections?

Let's see, we need to start at the beginning, I'm almost Lyme illerate, the presence of the B.b. organism is what determines if one has Lymes? ¿Sí o no? How many co-infections are there? And, is Morgellons considered a co-infection of Lymes?

Lyme disease

Lyme disease - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Eurosurveillance - View Article

"The prevalence of ticks infected with B. burgdorferi and the incidence of Lyme borreliosis is higher in central and eastern Europe and lower in western Europe.

A number of other infections can also be transmitted through the bite of a hard-bodied (ixodid) tick, including ehrlichiosis, babesiosis, bartonellosis, tickborne encephalitis, tularemia and possibly Q fever.

There is currently no vaccine for Lyme borreliosis. Effective prevention relies on increased public education about the disease and avoidance of tick bites (eg, using protective clothing, insect repellents, and early detection and removal of ticks)."

Well, let me tell you this. When I had my first appointment at the hospital my Lyme doc gave me a loooooong list of possible symptoms to check...according to my addings he checked to see which co-infections I might have..And BINGO!! He was right... I was positive tested for BB, CPN and Ehrlichia...

Another co-infection is Babesia....which I think you have also, Kam**..you know I told you how important it is for you to be tested for this all? According to your symptoms you might also have BB and CPN?

That ELIZA test...hmm..well what shall I say? I'll call it 'dinosaur'?..lol...
The newest test is Elispot-LTT which I have mentioned here before...unfortunatelly american docs do not use this test..yet...which would explain wrong negative results when using Eliza or Western Blot..

You know what I told you??

And yes, the spirochetes are evidence of BB..other co-infectons are considered to be CPN, Ehrlichia, Babesia, Bartonella, Rickettsia... and YES Morgellons Disease!

others co-infections: Yersinia enterocolitica
Herpes simplex Virus Typ I/II
Cytomegalie-Virus
Toxoplasmose
Ebstein-Barr-Virus
Borna-Virus
Hepatitis C-Virus
HIV-Virus

SUPPLEMENTS & NATURAL PRODUCTS
From my extensive clinical experience, I know that antibiotics alone are not sufficient for most persons with chronic tick-borne infections such as Lyme disease.

The wise and judicious use of nutritional supplements is absolutely vital to strengthening the immune system, controlling chronic inflammation, correcting deficiencies, normalizing intestinal bacterial flora, and many, many other functions.

Nutrition Essentials, Inc., is a nutrition supplement company that I, along with a nutritionist and chiropractor, helped to found several years ago. The company carries a wide variety of very excellent products, many of which I use in my office. I am no longer affiliated with the company, so as not to present any semblance of conflict of interest with my book. However, I know the new owners very well and can vouch for their ongoing commitment to excellence. Please contact them if you wish to use their nutritional supplement products.
They can be reached at:

As always, please consult your health care practitioner prior to embarking on any new treatment or therapy.

I DO NOT PROMOTE THIS WEBSITE!!! NOR AM I SELLING ANY PRODUCTS!

Hey Kat and Kam...

I started some threads (I think others did also, but not sure and am tired of going back to check) on Lyme. Remember the 'MACROSCOPIC LYME IN FECES' one I started because, in spite of the fact that they don't test the stool for Lyme (because the powers that be who determine the tests to give don't include it) I have isolated 4 of the different organisms matching those on the website lymephotos.

The only way to test accurately in the US right now is to send blood to Igenex lab in California. Like you said, Kat, the Elisa is a relic, but what do they care? They don't want us to test positive because insurance will have to cover treatment and only in New Jersey (yaay, at least) something is being done because of some of the state reps who are not on the take (shocker)

I'm going through some testing right now at the wellness center working with an MD who is not the 'naturopath' he claims...but at least knows all about vitamins, having gone to Harvard (BFD) to study them after retiring as a gastro-intestinal surgeon. We'll see how it goes when the tests he ordered come back. I'll get him to give me a scriot for Lyme..I already got the kit from Igenex to use...but it's going to cost me a frekin $1,300,00 on top of all this other money insurance won't cover. Is it too much to ask that our regular doctors have some knowledge to give direction so we don't have to pay cash to go to others who do?

I also posted yesterday about my musings concerning the nematodes they are using to kill the B.b in ticks... I hope they are also good for killing the co-infectors, Babesia, Ehrlichia, Bartonella, etc.....which I am wondering could be the nematode of Morgellons (if there is a nematode involved)...You know a nematode could also be one of the stages of whatever anyone else thinks it is. I just cannot wrap my mind around one that is 3 inches (not to bring this sore subject up again here)...but a nematode possibly nonetheless.

Stages....stages.....stages.....morph, morph, morph......elusive, elusive, elusive....eukaryote, prokaryote......larvae of flies, larvae of whatever else.....

I'm getting tired again. I think I post too much. Sometimes I wonder if anyone reads what I put out here. I think Lyme and Morgellons are intimately connected.
