| Hi Carla, you know what? It's the global warming. I have noticed that we don't have those really cold winters over here in Germany anymore and that weather situations have changed....like it's summer and hot in May...and cold, rainy in August allready? Many insects survive and even thrive in such conditions...I have seen insects lately I haven't seen in my entire life. Some look like they are not domestic.. some species from Africa or Asia maybe. Really ugly looking flying insects with yellow or red striped wings..and no they are not bee's or wasps..I know the difference. I looked a few up..but couldn't find ANYTHING similar. Could this be the reason for all this?..some kind of foreign insect spreading a disease we don't usally have in northern and mild climate regions? And that's why the doc's don't even think about it? Oh, anyway just thinking. Katinka |

| Carls and Kat....(Kat I'm sure you have a point about the warm temps enabling them)....and here's another thought... mosquitos. Think of how they multiply. I don't remember where I read it, or whether or not it's accurate, but I read that a tick does not pass on pathagens to their offspring. Maybe someone here would have a handle on that....but mosquitos, on the other hand are ubiquitous and breed by the millions and can jump all over the place and infect any moving object. keep on a-thinkin' Kat! good thinkin'! | Hey Kritters, have you seen how many Morgies who participated at the "poll" live near a lake, river or pond. Don't mosquitos love such conditons? Warm water? There's a huge pond right at my back yard..... I was bitten by insects several times last summer while working in the garden..just before this all started. And guess what? There's a cropfield sitting right next to it. hmmmm I almost believe this theory could be true? Do the insects "pick up" GM Crap and transmit other foreign parasites too? We need to do further research on this I guess. Kat Last edited by Katinka; April 19th, 2009 at 10:56 AM. |
