Katinka - I'm not sure what you mean by "So I think that Morgellons have NOTHING to do with Borrelia.. it's not a co-infection.. exept that they use the Borrelia Bacteria to hide and adapt in our organism." I don't have Lyme. I have a lot of Morgellons symptoms - started with biting - then sickness, exhaustion, lesions, black specks, and all the other "things" whatever the hell they are...stuff I've never heard anyone else describe, like seeds that had sprouted. You aren't the first person to say that Borrelia has nothing to do with Morgellons. There may be a casual relationship, but is neither cause nor effect (I think). SS

The lyme literate docs.. seem to think that pretty well all people with morgellons have Lyme disease too.... although many of course have not been properly diagnosed... that's why it's so important to have blood tests at the right labs and a competant lyme literate doc to read them... morgellons symptoms, apart from the lesions, fibers and crawling etc are very similar to lyme...ie, fatigue, sweats, swollen joints, cough , blurry eyes, memory loss and so on... I apparently had lyme for a couple of years before I got morgellons... I'm sure it was the lyme which weakend me and caused my immune system to fail and then of course make me a good target for the morg to enter. Added to that I was up to my neck in toxic metals and pestacides. Hilly x Last edited by hilly; February 27th, 2009 at 07:20 AM.

Katinka - My thinking is pretty much in line with yours, with one BIG exception. I don't think Morgellons is "a bacteria". It is a "recipe" of various things that are combined in a deliberate fashion. As Dr. Spencer is contending, it is caused by nanotechnology. My belief. SS

but they still may be "co-infections" in that the "go together" even if we did not get them from the same vector at the same time. i'm not sure what co-infection truly means. you said your only syptom is on your head, that's how it attacked me first. what are the lesions like? Have you been tested for food allergies? Do you notice they respond to foods?
