Hi all, I was recently diagnosed with Lyme disease but now have my doubts about it. I seem to have some of the symptoms I have read here and in other sites. The sores seem to keep coming back and I have some black like specks in my sores. No fiber like things yet, but i do have that feeling of something crawling under my skin and biting me. The medication has been helping me, but I wonder now what do I really have. ???

Well if I was in your place, I probably would not feel rested until I had a second opinion on the matter. Try to do some more research and look for a diffrent doctor. It does seem like it may be something else beside Lyme disease. Good luck to you!

I really appreciate the treatment recommendations, especially anything for mouthwash or the nose or bottom. Diet is so important. Clean towel daily is a must, or I can get a bite or two from the used towel from the day before. Re. treatment, I would like to recommend oregano oil (not the cooking kind of oregano, which is actually more related to marjoram, but the wild kind). I use 3 capsules, 2x/day, and the drops under my tongue a couple times a day. I also rub a drop of the oil on a fresh bite which can draw out the invading organism. (One brand is Oregamax.) Oregano oil is said to be a powerful antiseptic and antifungal, and was used widely before penicillin. I also use tea tree oil shampoo all over which is refreshing and antifungal and smells/feels wonderful. (I use Paul Mitchell.) I have also taken a wormwood combination (the safer wormwood) with the oregano oil with some success. Initially, I got very nauseous (a heximer reaction, or die-off, I believe), and passed scores/bundles of long wormlike things (couple inches more or less) which I believed to be worms, but tested negative on an O&P test for parasites. Possibly fungal?

Bubba: I have a question - did you ever get bit by a deer tick. I was always told growing up that is how you get Lyme disease. Am I way off. I am just trying to figure out how my husband could have gotten Morgellons. Some say its in the water in Austin - he lived there. Some say it's contagious. Some say - some say. I just wonder if we all start compiling our lives together if we could come up with a common demoniator. Let me know what you think about everyone comparing their lives and maybe we can find the cause and the cure.

Thank you so much for the quick reply Bubba! I am very sorry to hear that you have it as well. What did you get first Morgellons or the lymeD? I just heard about Morgs and trying to learn more about it so i dont get it. I heard many people get Morgs along with lyme disease, like yourself. Do you have any idea how you got both?
