Default Diagnosed with Lyme disease but now have my doubts

Hi all, I was recently diagnosed with Lyme disease but now have my doubts about it. I seem to have some of the symptoms I have read here and in other sites. The sores seem to keep coming back and I have some black like specks in my sores. No fiber like things yet, but i do have that feeling of something crawling under my skin and biting me. The medication has been helping me, but I wonder now what do I really have. ???

Well if I was in your place, I probably would not feel rested until I had a second opinion on the matter. Try to do some more research and look for a diffrent doctor. It does seem like it may be something else beside Lyme disease. Good luck to you!

Tips you can try to ease the biting and crawling:

- take a hot bath with some salt (about 1 canister) and 2 bottles of hydrogen peroxide - soak for about 30-45 minutes - this will kill the biting larva in the wounds - you will feel much better after the first bath

- try Selsun Blue medicated shampoo - rub it all over your body and wahs it off - this will help with the biting - you can also purchase some products such as mud packs and sulfur packs on some web site (I have tried soem of them and they work well).

- try to find a dry sauna that you can get into for about 30 minutes a day - I joined a spa - you will kill alot of them fast - drink lots of water before and after

- get into the sun for about 5-10 minutes (not too long)

Dont give up - stay the course!
Thank you very much for the information, I will give it a try. I have tryed the salt bath and have gotton some relief from that. But this is the first time I heard of using hydrogen peroxide as well. I will give it a shot. Just want to clarify, you have Lyme disease or morgellons? thanks

Do most people who get Lyme disease, such as yourself kbubb contract morgellons? Do they feed off each other some how?

I really appreciate the treatment recommendations, especially anything for mouthwash or the nose or bottom. Diet is so important.
Clean towel daily is a must, or I can get a bite or two from the used towel from the day before.

Re. treatment, I would like to recommend oregano oil (not the cooking kind of oregano, which is actually more related to marjoram, but the wild kind). I use 3 capsules, 2x/day, and the drops under my tongue a couple times a day. I also rub a drop of the oil on a fresh bite which can draw out the invading organism. (One brand is Oregamax.) Oregano oil is said to be a powerful antiseptic and antifungal, and was used widely before penicillin.

I also use tea tree oil shampoo all over which is refreshing and antifungal and smells/feels wonderful. (I use Paul Mitchell.)

I have also taken a wormwood combination (the safer wormwood) with the oregano oil with some success. Initially, I got very nauseous (a heximer reaction, or die-off, I believe), and passed scores/bundles of long wormlike things (couple inches more or less) which I believed to be worms, but tested negative on an O&P test for parasites. Possibly fungal?

Bubba:

I have a question - did you ever get bit by a deer tick. I was always told growing up that is how you get Lyme disease. Am I way off. I am just trying to figure out how my husband could have gotten Morgellons. Some say its in the water in Austin - he lived there. Some say it's contagious. Some say - some say. I just wonder if we all start compiling our lives together if we could come up with a common demoniator. Let me know what you think about everyone comparing their lives and maybe we can find the cause and the cure.

Hi Jovie have you got any more information on your condition? I was diagnosed with lyme diease a while ago, and its a daily grind. Its been a few months after treatment with antibiotics and I still get muscle and joint pains every other day. At least i dont have any of those sores I was getting. They have not come back. Do you still have the sores? Do you still have any symptoms? I dont have morgellons but since there was a board here, I wanted to post and say hello.

Thank you so much for the quick reply Bubba! I am very sorry to hear that you have it as well. What did you get first Morgellons or the lymeD? I just heard about Morgs and trying to learn more about it so i dont get it. I heard many people get Morgs along with lyme disease, like yourself. Do you have any idea how you got both?

well DO look for any suspicious fiber laying around house and get rid of them kleenfree-naturally will dissolve them patially if you spray them they are not textile and not human hair kleen-free naturally is enzymes but can also use to get rid of black specks and fibers in home but is safe enough to take a bath in. ive been wearing no cotton it seems like the things mutiply in them i wear polyester but be surprised actually have nice fabrics in it now not uncomfortable. nylon and acetate and arcryllic also good but cotton or cotton blends i dont wear. much less itch that way even after the regimen. also wanted to say sulpher these things hate . if have older style pharmacy can have a sulphur ointment made up for you or can try from an apothecary online(as long as dont have allergy). selsum blue shampoo after the peroxide and epsom salt bath has a sulphur derivative. check any pets too i have collies were fibers in shed fur. get a plastic matress cover for you bed i am sleeping on plastic cover can see any black specks in home and spray with enyzyme. the treatment reigime really does help me be less itchy. with the ecovie keep a spray bottle with dilutuion of warm water and spray eyes ears if any discomfort in them cleared conjuntivitus and double ear infection in me. for me started with the specks but led to the fibers.
