gumball requested i post this video from the good mornig america show telling of chronic lyme and a radical treatment that gave a woman more of her life back. i am disgusted to say all the abc stories in print negative say long term antibiotic therapy is uneeeded, but what if like this lady we are diagnosed TOO LATE? ( which is the majority, although the media and health depts, docs, and the cdc would say different) what do we do, will it away magically? the phycical and neurological symptoms are so obvious with chronic lyme i have a hard time swallowing this propoganda in print on the abc site. just put gsome gasoline on the fire to fuel the igorance.

the video is the one good story with truth in it, glad good morning america did it. here is the link to the video:
http://abcnews.go.com/Video/playerIndex?id=3531862 all i can say is i want this doctor she had, lol. there was an accompanying article said long term antibiotic therapy not practical and dangerous, without it i would be crippled. also many jaded articles echoing the sceptism of anybody beig sick after a fourteen day antibiotic course like it was an ear infection or something. many articles in this vein on the abc site like this and this viewpoint IS why lyme is becoming an epidemic. lyme patients are often misdiagnosed ignored and told it is all in their head. i think if there is a mental issue it is the mental incompetence of the medical profession and those regulating it, as well as the media for downplaying people becoming disabled. the one shining exception is the video. what a disgrace, in the days of polio before vaccines people did not think it a joke. how many have to get sick before people realize it is an epidemic and DO something? same with morgellons disease nuff' said.
