Irritated by conventional medicine's refusal to consider new treatments for Lyme

What is it with scientists and egos??

How can they go against 19,000 peer reviewed studies that all say the same?

What a bunch of muppets (no offense to THE Muppets intended - sure they'd do a better job of writing sound guidance )

Maybe I should be posting under rants...

BUT, I am so tired of talking with friends in the medical community (casual conversation) about Morgellons. They all respond by saying that if there was anything to be found, surely a doctor would find it. When I explain that the doctors don't even look, their response is that if there was something a doctor could do (ie. write a prescription) then they would.

My point, doctors of Medicine are just that. They aren't investigative scientists or pharmacologists. Big pharma (hand in hand with the FDA and insurance companies) has to find our "fix" before MD's will recognize Morgellons. I don't want a "fix" to be taken daily for the rest of my life. I want this gone!

I have to google it, but my neighbor who works for the P.O. gave me an article from a Neurology Today (something like that..) and the 2 schools of thought (the 2 national Lymes orgs.) regarding Lymes treatment were being questioned by the Attorney General. The AG felt that anti trust laws were being broken by the old schoolers.

I will follow up with more information from my files, but it is food for thought. I have little time today so please excuse my vagueness.
