Review the work of Dr. Ritchie Shoemaker at Biotoxin or Neurotoxin Illness (CFIDS, Fibro, Lyme and Mold Illness) Information and Testing Center He can explain why some people get better after lyme treatment and some do not. There may be genetic reasons. Some people are able to eliminate the toxins that lyme spirochetes release when they DIE and some are NOT. Some people can break down or mark the toxins for removal and some cannot. These biotoxins can exist in the human body indefinitely (by being reabsorbed like nutrients are) if they are not bonded to bonding agent and eliminated through the colon etc. now that they have a different undesirable molecular shape. I have learned a lot by reading this website and the book MOLD WARRIORS. He also explains why some of us are sensetive to Wheat, Oats and other carbs that have Glucose or Amylose. I highly recommend the book, sprite.

That's a coincidence for me because the doctor I saw today mentioned that among the tests I need. I am going to try to get it free from my insurance; that's why he did not set it up. In the meantime I am getting treated for lyme.

I didn't mention the name of a specific test. There is the vision test (on his site, only 45$ for 3 tests to mark your progress) and includes a consultation with your doctor and him(, HLA DB DQ (for genes of susceptibility), MMP9, ACTH, and many many more in his book. If you are sensetive to neurotoxins though, even killing all the lyme may not help since the lyme gives off toxins when it dies, they can remain present even after the lyme is gone. It could be unsafe to do treatment for lyme without knowing because one could get more sick. I treated for lyme for 5 months but I am more ill now then I was before I started treatment. Do get checked and order that book and work with your doctor!
