Hi All,

I've started a new treatment regimen. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE try this for a week or two & let me know your findings

SOAK for 1-2 hours in the tub with 64 oz. ANTIBACTERIAL LIQUID SOAP (over the counter I have been using MARKET BASKET BRAND because its only $3.49 for 64 oz) THe active ingredient is TRICLOSAN .15%

SOAK EVERY DAY & Scrub with luffah to exfoliate debris, the warm bath is soothing, the liquid soap smells pleasant & the soak softens & loosens debris

BLEND the following (I know this is disturbing but my population is really reacting & the results have been DRAMATIC!!)

PALMERS COCOA BUTTER FORMULA (n the round 3.5 ounce container)
with
HARTZ ULTRA GUARD Flea, Tick & Lice powder (there is a formula for cats & for dogs, its "over the counter" so I believe relatively harmless/safe
ACTIVE INGREDIENT : TETRACHIORVINPHOS 3.3%

RUB ALL OVER BODY.

You may also wish to sprinkle Gold Bond medicated powder (easier to get dressed, as it absorbs some of the oily, sticky residue from the Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula & coats the body so that misture does not "rub off"

DO this every day & then at night rub in vaseline.

Once a week I apply Permetherin 5% & cover with Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula or Vaseline

Shower to remove oily residue & then repeast with bath

My skin has literally SHED LAYERS & LAYERS OF DEBRIS, flaking, pealing, some white, some amber in all the areas that have been most "active" most swollen, blotchy, discolored. Rashes have begun to surface under the areas which debris has been covering.

SWELLING, TWITCHING, BLOTCHINESS, HAIR "LOSS", ITCHING, PAIN, BURNING has subsided rashes & lesions have popped out (but clear up much more quickly)

& MORE IMPORTANTLY I believe the microscopic mites which have been encrusted, encased, embedded & sumerged in the copious amount of debris are started to "surface" & are therefore "reachable (detection should be easier) & topical lotions, powders should be able to penetrate the actual parasite population.

NOTE This is disturbing, you will have flare ups everywhere,even in places you do not currently think or feel are infested the debris is intense, layer after layer, day after day. THIS IS NOT DRY SKIN, THIS IS PART OF THE CONDITION, A SYMPTOM & BYPRODUCT PRODUCED BY THE PARARSITES.

I know many of you have microscopes & may even be able to identify microscopic mites yourelf.

This is an exhausting process but the most dramatic results I have ever had, ever (& this has been going on for years).

Please, please, please keep an open mind, attempt this & keep me posted.
If anyone follows this regimen & has similar results I will provide you with my Infectious Disease MD's contact info (In Boston MA) he has been monitoring me for almost a year ( & has not labeled me crazy & has prescribed multiple RX's & has provided me with many Medical Leave of Absence letters, all of which have been approved by my corporation (i've been on approved medical leave for 10 months & received full short term disability benefits for this condition).

So many variables! Which treatments do you think have impacted on you the most?

My general rule is...do novel treatments on yourself and THEN ask others to try, if success continues AFTER SIX WEEKS.

I think this is fair and seems to weed out the duff protocols.

I'd like to know how you came up with such a complicated protocol. Seems a bit much for trial and error. Why would you layer anything on top of permethrin cream? What was your thought process here?

I thought the consensus was that this disease was mainly Internal- with the skin problems being a ugly and main side effect.

Do you think your regime can completely cure you?

Have your ever tried F-7 or Ivermectin?

Were you ever thoroughly tested for co-infections?

Yes I have been tested for other infections....nada. Nothing. Perfectly healthy otherwise.
Yes, I have tried Ivermectin, to no avail.
I started this routine because the vibrating and the swelling and the joint pain & the disfigurement & the blotching & the scabs & the lesions & the craters have been getting me down, to put it mildly.
Layering vaseline or cocoa butter over powder and/or permetherin ia
A) Soothing physically to the skin & based on my results B)It also appears to "absorb" & "exfoliate" some of the debris, softening & "bringing debris to the surface" of my skin. The more debris, oozing, "sand" fuzzies & fibers that come out of me the less pain, swelling, discoloration, vibrating & scabbing I experience. Therefore I am able to see & feel progress on a daily basis which is uplifting & positively reinforcing.
Can I promise this will ultimately lead to 100% recovery??? No, not at this stage I can't.
But my results have some promise & I am hopeful & isn't that something?
We can't even get the CDC or the worldwide medical community to even suggest this condition exists & ALL OF US HAD HAD OUR LIVES STOLEN OUT FROM UNDER (our skin) US.......
THis may seem excessive, complicated, tedious (all true) but these are readily available & inexpensive ingredients (other than the Permetherin 5% cream...which can be bought over the counter without a RX in many countries &/or is quite easy to order on line).

May I sugest to you to please do some more reading from past posters about what has been tried and what has been found to help.There is a wealth of knowledge available from some very intelligent and hard working individuals here.Please don't think that we are not good listeners,instead we have been doing our research much longer than most and are a little sensitive about being told to do something that we have already dealt with.It doesn't mean that we are closed minded,just the opposite, as we love new good info but so much of what we hear from others is often ridiculous and potentially harmful.Before claiming a new potential cure be sure to do a little homework first and that will save a lot of confusion among newbies.You are so welcome here and we look forward to you joining us along the way with our endeavours.Thanks for being wlling to share and for trying to help.If you have any questions,feel free to ask them as this helps present a dialouge for others to share in.Welcome aboard!

That Hartz flea powder ingredient is carcinogenic and can cause nervous problems. I did permanently damage one of my cat's nervous systems about 15 years ago by using it ONE time.

Permetherins are also a chemical which can damage the endocrine system (versus Pyrethrin, which is organic and probably safe).

We are all desparately trying to self-diagnos and experiment with cures, but please be cautious that the cure is not worse than the disease.

My skin is scared so badly after 7 years of this awful invasion. But I don't seen to have any discomfort internally. When did you senior members find the M affected your internal system?

My new first step formula is taking about a month to get my sores to the point of only super small dots of M and short colored fibers , unless I miss cleaning a sore. The hard part is getting them to heal but I have had success on my face, neck and legs. I will take the advice above and see if I can remain M free for a period of time before I get your hopes up. I wish there was a list of all the methods and products that people have tried and the length in which they helped?

I have studied this disease eshaustively (truly) since having contracted this condition in 1998. Simply because I have not been an active participant should not be a reflection on my "newbie" status. I understand fully that there are many hardworking & intelligent people suffering from Morgellons and participating in this forum, I certainly did not mean to imply that I have some sort of magical cure & i've swooped down on the unenlightened to disabuse the other suffer's approaches/insight/experience/advise.
I am just tryingsharing my most recent experiences which are yielding very dramatic sensory & physically tangible results.
Nothing more, nothing less. I am PAINFULLY aware that I do not have the key to the universe on this issue, that none of us truly do. I am of the firm belief system that if we all band together in unity it will ultimately help our cause. Sharing of ideas is a necessary step in that direction. I hope this is taken in the spirit in which it is being expressed. I am experiencing feelings of hope surrounding the results of my regimen/rituals. Hope has been pretty devoid in my emotional life since having been stricken with this horrible illness.......... HOPE is a very powerful emotion in my painful, frightening and isolated existence. That is all I'm trying to share. HOPE.
