| Hi Everyone, I'm Lovinmalamutes, also known as "D" or "Lucy", and I am glad to be here. I have been a member here for 3 years, but I've only posted once to introduce myself, and that was back in 2008 I think. I have been in a completely fragmented emotional, mental and physical state, and withdrew from most of the world. I am doing a bit better, but still finding it an extremely hard struggle to just get through the day. My question is; am I the only one who is pulling what appears to be glass like particles from my skin? I also have what I call "grit" everywhere, and if it contacts your skin you will have instant burning sensations, and itching. Also when I remove the fibers from my skin they seem to shoot off ( like a seed pod bursting and all of the seeds shooting out) little bitty particles that land all over my face. I can't see it, but I feel it. It's like something just splattered all over. My foggy brain is preventing me from being able to describe and explain things in an intelligent manner today, so please "hear what I mean". I am wondering if the fiber optics box (main connection for neighbor hood) installed over my water main line into the house could be involved with this somehow. I have felt like I'm living in a glass plant, or plastics factory. When this all started it really affected my intestinal track and when I went to the doctor I described the issue this way, "I am experiencing severe intestinal distress and it feels like what I imagine someone who eats glass would feel like when processing it through." So, if anyone else has this , please let me know, and if you have found anything that helps please please please share with me. Thank you All for being here for those of us who are dealing with the "fiber monster"! |

| Hi Janice, Thank you for responding to my post. I hope you will elaborate a bit on what you actually experienced, and what (if anything) you found that helped, and/or relieved the symptoms. When removing the "particulants and fibers" did you notice that they will actually reassemble themselves when pulled apart and also will go back into the area you pulled them from as though they are drawn back? I wish I could explain a bit better, but I truly am having a foggy fragmented day. Thanks for being there! |

| One thing I can tell you is read the thread " worms that look like human hair" Also read the thread " aloe Vera, oil pulling ect. You can find it by putting aloe Vera in the search box. I try to do every thing naturaly, so I dont kill myself trying to get rid of this morgellons. Also read about hymalayan salt crystals. I could never soak in salt baths unti I used this type of salt. Great stuff. That's a very good start to get you going in the right direction. Also buy a $5 dollar bar of grandmas pure and natural lye soap at ace hardware. | Janice, Thank you for the info. I will try anything within reason, and like you I do the natural/alternatives before chemicals. I figure it's the toxins in our world that are doing these crazy things to us, and supporting the very people causing it doesn't appeal to me. What can you suggest as far as cleaning the home? I haven't a clue as to what might knock this stuff down to a minimum and/or clear it out! I have two Giant Alaskan Malamute/Shepherd mix fur kids, and needless to say I am continually in high fur tide here. Lol When vacuuming it feels like little shards of glass are hitting me in the legs, and other areas too. Have you or anyone else had that happen? I am unable to remove the carpeting although I so badly want too. Again thank you kindly for all of your help! I hope you are feeling well and doing great! |

| Put all your dirty clothes in plastic bags and draw them tight. Then do your vacuuming. With carpet and dogs your gonna have to work xtra hard. Have you taken your dog to get checked for worms? |

The sponge theory that I've been soliciting for several years now can explain those "glass-like" particles your pulling from your skin, they actually are glass, aka silica, the sponge theory contends that they are spicules produced by the sponge. Take a look at these images and see if you recognize any of them. Sponge spicules

| When I first got this and had lesions head to toe. The only thing that worked for me was Aloe. I still felt like an entire bee hive was attacking me, but Aloe miraculously stopped me from getting more lesions. I was wondering if your dogs have contracted this? When I first got it, I'm pretty sure I gave it to my Maltese - but none of my family ever got sick, thank GOD! The Maltese died of old age a few years ago. I've got two new dogs, a pit mix and a shih tzu, and they're both fine. However, I've got a 1 1/2 year old Himalayan cat that stays in my cave... I mean my bedroom with me. During one of my lesion outbreaks, she got three sores, and her eyes were mucked up for a month or so. She was itching really bad and all I could do was put aloe on the sores. She healed and hasn't had another outbreak. I'm too tired to do a lot of cleaning. My husband vacuumes once a week or so. When I come in contact with the black specs I get muscle spasms. This has got to be the wierdest disease on the face of the earth. I hope you get some relief! Clara <3 PS I just remembered why I was trying all those lotions. The Psych I saw had two other patients who had this (one a nurse, one an attorney) and she had taken their cases to the CDC. All the CDC would tell her was that they should "Seal their skin". From what? they wouldn't say. But lotions seemed to aid it, and gel seemed to stop it. Last edited by Clara; December 22nd, 2011 at 10:40 AM. Reason: added a P.S. |

| Clara, try bug-arrest for your pets (and you, and your clothes and environment). You might be able to buy it at your local pet stores (call first). It is a great enzyme that breaks down the chitin "Bug Arrest is an ecologically safe and effective pest management solution. It is a non-toxic product containing natural enzymes that devour the exoskeleton of pests such as ants and fire ants, bees, wasps, fleas, flies, gnats, spiders, dust mites, ear mites, hair mites, roaches, termites, crabs, scabies, mange, box elder bugs, lice, and more! It is a botanical solution comprised of: purified water, amino acids, minerals and other ingredients derived from leafy green, edible and seed-bearing plants. There are NO poisons or toxic chemicals in Bug Arrest, and therefore cannot be classified as a pesticide. Uses for Bug Arrest Bug Arrest For Insects: Spray the insects with Bug Arrest. To be effective, Bug Arrest must be sprayed directly on the insect. Bug Arrest For Your Home: For items such as furniture, carpets, helmets, and car upholstery, put 2 oz. of Bug Arrest in 16 oz. of water and spray area that may be infested. Allow to dry and vacuum. Place vacuum bag in a sealed plastic bag and remove it from the house. For removing mites on carpets, use 1-2 oz. of Bug Arrest in carpet shampooer. Bug Arrest For Insects on Plants: Dilute 1 oz. in 16 oz. of water. Spray plant and soil. Caution: If Bug Arrest is mixed too strong, leaves may burn and turn brown. Try it on a couple of leaves and wait several hours to see how the plant responds to the mixture. If it is too strong, increase water and and repeat the process. " So, this helped me. I bought a gallon 4 years ago & it lasts a long time. My cats liked getting sprayed with the bugarrest... I think they knew it helped. ~jonsi
