Default Western Blot valid?

Hello to all,
I am new to this forum, having stumbled upon it searching for health information.
My question: Is the Western Blot a valid test for diagnosing Lyme disease, or can one obtain a false-positive test result from other conditions, say spirochetes from root canals or periodontal problems? Is there a definite reliable test for diagnosing Lyme disease?
Thank you!

I tested negative on all the Western Blot reactives but scored 48 then a 75 on CD57 when it should be closer to 200, but I am making progress

Western Blot is not always reliable.

Best is to find a dr who will just look at your blood under a microscope as some of the bacteria is like Malaria, you only see it in a fresh sample.

They found at least 3 different kind of bacteria - "I" shape is the Lymes, Morgs looks like a cog. Then also found 1 cell would have up to 3 bacteria in it.

It was like watching a live pac man game, the white blood cell would slowly move over to the infected red blood cell, then poof, the bacteria was sucked out of the affected red cell.

I will work on loading pics on that Battle Morgellons FB page, not working right now but will try again later or I can email them to sportsman

Thank you, Beebee. My symptoms do not seem to be as severe as some with Lyme, though my CD57 count has been low. I have read(latest Townsend Letter issue) of a doctor who used to look at live blood. Thanks for the advice.
