Default Morgellons sufferer

Hello,

I first want to say that this is by far the best forum for Morgellons help that I have found and I'm so happy to have found it.

I've had this a while. My acute symptoms started in February 2011, but as I read more about it I realize that I've probably had symptoms for about six years. Something happens to put us into the acute, crawling, biting, lesion stage, it's not that way all the time. It's almost a dormant stage that is activated by one thing or another. I wish I knew what it was.

I have a three year old with M, as well. I believe I transferred it to her during pregnancy. I'd do anything to end her suffering. Anything.

Fortunately, I have found ways to decrease my symptoms to make life functional. I had, at one time, been attacked so much by these things that all I would do is clean and cry. I'm sure we've all been through that. I'm happy to say that my symptoms are minor now. I feel activity in my hair at times, as well as some in my feet, an occasional bite and very light crawling that intermittent, at best. I am totally grateful to others for their support and treatment ideas, I honestly don't know what I would have done without them.

Hi Polly.

Your comment "all I would do is clean and cry" really struck a cord with me because that's the state I'm in myself right now. Believe it or not, I think I either had the disease or some type of pre-disposition to it for nearly 30 years now (I'm 41 and I starting suffering from some of the symptoms around 11 or 12 years old).

Reading that you have learned ways to cope with it and combat the symptoms gives me hope and I wanted to let you know that. Take care.

Thank you for that. I think that youll find that you find commonalities with almost everyone on the board. I can say that theyve made both my life and my daughters life so much more comfortable in just the little time ive been posting.

People are actively getting well on this site so dont lose hope.
