Just learned about this two days ago!

I only found out that I have Morgellon's two days ago. I have spent many hours online learning everything I can. I've also tested my hair brush, scalp scrapings, ear canal scrapings, and nostril scrapings with a microscope. I'm a teacher, so I conveniently had a pretty good microscope at home.
I had Lyme disease several years ago, and had long suspected that some of my strange symptoms that come and go were related to that. My daughter recently told me that I had some of the strangest symptoms she had ever heard of.
My scalp has always itched. About 3 years ago, my left ear canal began to itch sometimes to the point that I would (knowing better) stick something in my ear to scratch it. Some nights it was so bad I couldn't sleep.
I've always had allergies but they seem to have gotten worse lately. Sometimes I just suddenly feel bad. I will have a low grade temp for maybe a few hours, and then it's gone.
I have felt like bugs were crawling on me, when I could see that they were not, for quite a while. Recently, I started to feel as if I were being stuck on various parts of my body with a needle. This happens mostly at night.
The symptom that sent me to the internet in search of answers, just started a few days ago. The palms of both hands would turn red and itch and burn.
Anyway, the whole point is that other than not having large, open lesions, I have a LOT of signs and symptoms attributed to Morgellon's. Oh, and those samples I looked at with a microscope...they ALL contained black fibers. I even saw them moving in 2 of the samples.
I guess I found this forum so I could talk to others about this. I haven't even told anyone in my family about it yet. The "crazy" websites, and doctor's who don't even believe this exits, makes me nervous to talk about it. Thanks for being here.

why is your print so tiny? i can barely see it!! so, anything in your nose yet? you'll know what i mean when it happens

I'm sorry if the print is showing up tiny. It looks like a 12 point font on my screen. Do people usually use a larger font? About the nose...I've always had allergy problems, so I didn't really notice anything new except for my "sinus drainage" wasn't draining. It was staying like scabs in my nostrils. (Daily cleaning needed) When I checked it under the microscope, there were some tiny black fibers there, as there were everywhere else I checked. This is a really gross illness. I'd cry if I wasn't still so amazed at the weirdness of it all.

I did not get big horrible lesions for 32 years after I caught this. I have had it 39 years.

Do not worry so much there is a good crowd here that can help alleviate your symptoms.

I told myself it was just a little pimple or something the first couple of times I had the itching in my ear. But after months and months, plus the fact it had started in my right ear as well, I knew it was something else. I suspected a fungus, because the house I lived in at the time was very damp, and there were some mold issues. Some nites, I'd about rub my ear off my head trying to get the itching to stop. Now I do a scraping and see all these little black fibers, and I know it really was something trying to crawl out of me!! GROSS.

Welcome to MDR. Lots of folks here can help you. also have a look at the archives Treatment Steps. You are wise not to tell any kindAof doctor. Most will not or cannot help you. This is a crazy disease and may require some crazy treatment. You may also w ant to check out Morgellons Sanctum for help.

Changing your diet to a organic raw, juiced or steamed. No junk food, no colas, Llots of water sipped throughout the day. Cleanse the inside of your body, bowel, colon, liver/gallbladder, kidneys and do a good parasite cleanse several times. this will bring some relief

Thanks for the advice Gator! I'm kinda still at the point of absorbing all this info and accepting that this is really something that I have!! I know I need to get busy with treatments right away though, if I expect to get any relief. Why do you recommend that I not even tell my doctor? I've seen online that many doctors don't even believe this exits. No idea how mine would react! lol

farms r being destroyed all over the world due to this........ organic farmers... check out their food on the market.. heh full of fibers.......there will be no more food..... but u can blend shiny gmo apples or gmo bananas.... maybe softened particles r easy to digest lol ........ someone said but nanotechnology does not harmmmmm cos is nano size........ LOL How idiotic...... the smaller the particles the more dangerous its effect.........
