We just discovered how lucky we are this weekend. My wife has had symptoms for some time but it wasn't until last weekend that we thought she might have had Bot Fly larvae... After an epsom salt bath and a borrowed high-powered microscope - we found different. We need to know how contagious she\we are and where to find a doctor that knows what's up. My wife has a lot of different secretions - the black dots, blue threads, white things that look like twisted up toilet paper, tiny white worms, silver threads.... I cant keep up enough with the vacuum cleaner to even feed our kids! How contagious are those secretions? Can I go to work today without infecting everyone?

Well lets just imagine its not so nice, its not nice to have this or the mental strain of getting this, some have gone mad, some have turned into trolls. I do not know who got you on the cleaning the environment but really, think about it, you will never be able to do such a thing, it is a situation that can easily become a manic obsession. What we have seen here, itchy is that mates if they are men of women with this may not show signs at all. If she has it I am quite sure you have it, you may even have given it to her, have you ever heard of a carrier. You just need to take the microscope and look at your excrement on a slide or piece of glass if you have a digital scope and you will see the fibers. I do not think you got this YESTERDAY, more likely it has been growing inside you for years and years, then again who knows the virility of it as time goes on, my case was caught 39 years ago and it took 33 of those years to grow the large tumor like masses that shows on the skin as lesions under the skin. I do not think that the mess can be spread by your environment, others think they are reinfected daily, but I do not as I am a living fiber factory, LOL. If you PM me sir and send me your phone number we can talk about the issue and it may calm you some, I hate to think about a man running around the house cleaning all day, it is not a vision I wish to imagine, at least we can break you of that nasty habit, just think about this, that vacuum cleaner is throwing every filthy nasty item on the floor into the air and your breathing it. Welcome to MDR!! We are a family of sick people. Oh PS and all that, I think if you look at the urine, blood, skin, tears, poo poo or anything off or out of the majority of the people in America you will find, most all have the marker, FIBERS, I think as the clock tics the time b inside waits for the opportunity to explode, yup yup thats it alrighty.Last edited by Baraka Obam; June 13th, 2011 at 12:42 PM.

I believe you may be correct about the part where you said everyone has the fibers to some extent. I my bath last night I didn't have the drastic results as my wife but there some white worm-like things that seemed to disolve. The samples I took of my stuff showed some fibers - but they may have been left over from her bath or simply things that were in the air - flying off her ... I'll PM you as soon as I can get the 3 post requirement. This makes two... Thanks for your reply!!

Have you ever seen... My wife placed a 1/4" worm on a piece of toilet paper. Before my eyes - I watched it disappear into the toilet paper. I put a drop of oil on the spot where it was and placed it under the microscope. IT WAS GONE! Well..almost.. I saw the little black specks that gave it away. I couldn't see the worm itself but the tracks of black specks. I then held the toiletpaper up to the light and I could clearly see the outline of the little b@37@rd! These things are amazing! The shape-shifting, disappearing, glowing lights - really freaking increadible!

Hi Itchy and welcome to the forum. I was just curious what you mean by bright lights? Some plant bacteria give off light and many of us believe that there is some kind of fungus involved. Try not to get too obsessed with the microscope. We all did in the beginning but it can drive you crazy. I read from another post that if it dissolves in a tissue, than it's probably mucus.... worms don't. But this disease is so weird and doesn't really follow the typical medical findings. I know that it's scary to think about it being contagious and infecting others but like Baraka said, it's everywhere in the environment and if someone was going to get it, they would have it already. You have to live a life. If the CDC refuses to give us answers than it's on their shoulders if it is infectious. My doctor believes it's not contagious and that the fibers are a fungus but I still try to keep my environment clean. I believe it is a fungus but I also believe that there can be some type of microscopic parasite involved under the skin that may be attached to the fibers such as mites or scabies. I notice when I wash my clothes in Borax and change my sheets every other day, things are better. I don't think everyone has this though. I have never seen anything moving or alive under a microscope but it does reduce the itching. Try using coconut oil after the Epsom Salt bath. It does seem to help. They also don't like menthol. What state do you live in so someone might be able to recommend a doctor? Meagan

We're in North Central Arkansas. The 'lights.." while viewing brand new screations there seemed to be some chunks that had a very shiny or flourescense to them. I didn't think much about it at first and put it off as a light reflection. Later we found some youtube videos which had some chunks that actually had moving parts and you can see the lights move. I spoke with Barak on the phone for a bit - glad we got to talk, made us feel a lot better. Seems like what my Wife and I are seeing may have a pretty wide range of symptoms. We have a lot to learn.

Another thing to add -- the disolving worm... My wife brought it to me on her finger. It was solid, about 1/4" long and 1/16" wide, purple-ish and somewhat dry. Resembled part of a turd from a bird or something. While I was shuffling around for a slide she wanted to set it somewhere so I told her to put it on the toiletpaper. I was headed for it with the tweezers and it slowly vanished before my eyes. I doubt that it was mucus since it would have had to been wet and fluid. This was solid and I could still see it in the paper after I put a drop of oil on it and held it up to a light. I think that as far as looking under the microscope and trying to find things that move you can have more success if you have a fresh sample and dont squish it. Then look at it for a long time - maybe a few minutes till you notice the moving parts. Fibers start to shiver or clumps start to morph.

One thing that worked for me in the beginning with the crystal shiny stuff and fibers was Bentonite Clay. It's messy but gets a lot out of the skin. I would put it on my legs and arms after a bath and then wrap them with Saran Wrap and leave it for as long as possible. I then took off the wrap and let it dry then wash off. If you use a black light, you can see it all coming out of the clay. I haven't done it in awhile because of the mess but I might start doing it again outside since it's summer and wash it off with a hose. You can buy it at Health Food Stores. It's not a cure (there is none) but it helps get some things out of the skin. Meagan

I can also relate to the worms. I have white rubbery strings coming out of my nose and I'm coughing up what looks like larvae. It's long clear mucus with specks inside them. I see my doctor today and am going to have her test my sputum. I don't know if you or your wife have been to a doctor yet but if you go to a regular doctor, be careful and don't mention anything about Morgellons or parasites. Many here will agree that they label you with Delusional Parasitosis and it stays in your record forever! I have tried to just go for each symptom and have them figure it out. I'm still new at this but that is one thing I learned when I went to the ER with the crawling under my skin. I begged him not to put it in my records and agreed that it must have been in my head after he said I was delusional.

What he is saying I have heard things like this before, this is one nasty critter. I have not seen that myself, but more than once people here have stated that somthing came out of their skin and went right back in like it was passing through water.
