Hello fellow members. I am so relieved to have found this site and hopefully find fellowship with other sufferers. I just recently discovered the disease after becoming severely concerned about my symptoms. I have had "outbreaks of lesions accomponied by strange foriegn objects under my skin for several years. I initial thought it was glass that had some how gotten in my body and was gradually forcing its way out. Then a few weeks ago during an outbreak I began pulling wire like objects from my body and many other various clear nearly almond shaped objects began to surface too. I began to think I was going crazy because of the itching, stinging, and what appeared to be objects moving under my skin as well as the notion that all the objects looked exactly the same. I also began to take note of the "fibrous fuzz balls" I had been pulling from lesions over the years. I suddenly had a curious thought and took a magnet to the objects. What happened drove fear into my heart. Some of the objects jumped onto the magnet! Some seemed "anti-magnetic", jumping away from the magnet. While some seemed non-ferrous. The most confusing thing was the clear objects were the most magnetic. I have never seen or heard of anything clear and magnetic!!! My mind began racing over the discovery that magnetic , clear foriegn objects were under my skin. I luckily found this page among others.

Ah... but if this were only true. My Morgies would have jumped right out of me when I had the many MRI's over the past 5 years... like little jumping beans. Now that would have been a sight to see. Do you think the doctor's would have taken notice then? One can only wonder...

It has been said that the Devil's greatest feat was to convince us he didnt exist... I see some are still convinced. I dont need your negative skepticism. So, if you refuse to believe what's happening to me, that's perfectly fine. Just dont be ugly and dont try to throw your OPINIONS around as if they are facts. I honestly dont care the least bit if you believe me or not. It doesnt change the FACTS of what I'm experiencing, so... I am more than capable of providing physical evidence of my afflictions and would be willing to do so, had you expressed your doubt in my testimony respectfully, or just came to me and asked to see for yourself. I DO have to say though...You have made me feel soo comfortable about sharing within the one group I was under the impression that I could find fellowship and maybe some hope or explanation. Thanks for your helpful words and the great contribution you have made to all of us. I hope for you to find some peace and wisdom.I forgive your trespasses against me, since they were only words spoken in haste and influenced by ignorance or misunderstanding... .. P.L.U.R.R.-Peace. Love. Unity. Respect. Responsibility... Consider those and apply them in your life, and you will gain at least a little peace.

I had to look up PLURR because that was a new one. It's a term used by Ravers. Ugh.

No one needs your permission to post therefore there isn't any trespass. And I think we can all choose our own philosophy to follow. If you want to share a philosophy and tell us how it's helpful with your battle with morgs I would be interested.

Sorry, it's not like me to be sarcastic to others. I was having a bad day and being cranky/ angry at the world yesterday. No excuse, but the reason none the less. I wish you well.

All is well. We are only human. Lord knows I've been guilty of the same. `In regards to the raver comment...You are right. It IS a term that began in the rave community, but is the basic foundation of most spiritual and religious teachings. I own an event production, event management, and promotions company. As well as a go-go dance team and an artist management company. If it wasnt for the acceptance and unity through dance and music that I have found in the rave culture I would be in a much worse mental and emotional state. (BTW...Before it's brought up. Not every raver is a drug guzzling fiend.) With my noticeably deteriorating ability to focus, I am concerned that if it continues I will not be able to run so many organizations or any for that matter. If so though, I will still have the love for the music and freedom from societies' judgement that can hardly be matched anywhere else. I am rambling. Sorry. Thanks again Meagan M, and for the welcomes. I hope to gain more insight into this disease and pray for help to deal with it and survive mentally, physically, and spiritually.

I also have serious inability to focus and it wreaked havoc with my job because of poor memory and a decline in ability to communicate verbally.
(Are you losing your vocabulary? Reversing words?) For some reason I can still communicate effectively in writing so I've learned to use email a lot more and avoid verbal communication whenever possible, especially when I have to say something complicated. And list-making. It'll drive you nuts, but write everything down so it won't fall into that chasm of nowheresville. Other morgies have told me that it will get better, it's just a stage, but from where I sit it seems like the beginning of dementia. Hope you'll learn to cope so you can keep everything afloat at once.
