Default Another newby in desperate need of help!

Hi all,
I have been reading this forum for awhile trying to find answers but there is so much to read, it would take me years.
I have had CFS and POTS for 5 yrs now and just recently (3 months ago) took a dose of Albenza for an itchy bottom and that's when the Morgellons surfaced. It was the worst 2 weeks of my life. I had never heard of Morgellons before and was sure I had a disseminated case of parasites. It wasn't until I started getting the fibers coming out of my hands that I discovered Morgellons. For 4 days, it felt as though they were moving throughout my whole body. The worst part was my face because they seemed to move to the side of my nose and exit by pushing their way through my membranes. It was so very painful! I went to the ER because it was horrifying and well... you all can figure out what happened..DOP. My family also thought I was going crazy and still do except for my husband.
Anyway, taking the Albenza started a Morgie storm or something and I don't know how to stop it. I take the salt baths, use coconut oil, Vaseline, and Vicks. I clean and wash our clothes with peppermint soap and Borox. I am taking regular vitamin supplements.
It's 4am here in AZ and I have been unable to go to sleep. For some reason, every two weeks or so, the movement starts again and the fibers come out in abundance. Its like a cycle and I am experiencing this right now.
My biggest problem right now is my sinuses, throat and lungs. My sinuses have been draining for weeks now with this gel-like thick clear, stringy crap and it feels like there is something in the back of my throat that is driving me crazy. I feel like I'm choking and cannot eat or swallow. It is getting worse by the day. I have tried Vicks in the nose, Coconut Oil pulling, nasal washes, gargling salt water and H2O2 and even red wine. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get rid of this?
I also have this thick gel coming out of my lungs. I have been sucking on Vicks lozenges and this does not help either.
I have done a lot of research but even so, it's so hard to get answers from anyone regarding treatment. I now everyone is different but the info is so scattered that it's difficult to know what works and what doesn't.
Since this started, I have e-mailed everyone who knows about Morgellons begging for help. Of course, they all want money and are very expensive including Dr. Savely and Dr. Harper. My husband just retired from the military and I am not working so we cannot afford too much.
I found a Homeopathic doctor in AZ and e-mailed her. She scared the heck out of me and told me that I needed to get on meds right away because her last patient died from internal bleeding from Morgellons. She was 4 hrs away from me so she referred me to another doctor close by who is willing to give me the meds but knows nothing about Morgellons. The medication scares me more than the Morgellons. She wants to put me on praziquantel, mebendezole and ivermectin plus antibiotics, trimethoprim, doxycline and antifungals (diflucan and metranidazole).
Since I had such a reaction to the Albenza, I believe there is some parasites related but taking all this scares me. Has anyone else taken these meds?
My 10yr old son has it as well and his popped up after I started him on Humaworm before I knew it was Morgellons. My husband doesn't seem affected but my dog has been shedding these gooey green fibers.
I really need some advice. I have to do something now to relieve this choking sensation and lung congestion and don't have time to build my immune system up first. I don't think I am going to survive this much longer. I am going to try and make an appointment with my doctor who doesn't know I have this and would think I'm crazy but I'm afraid all she is going to want to do is give me steroids and I know that is a no no with Morgellons. Then again, if this keeps up, I might end up in the hospital and they would give it to me without knowing.
I know that all of your here are suffering and I pray for anyone who has this. If you could give me some advise, it would be greatly appreciated.

Meagan

Hi Megan, So sorry to hear that yet another person has this.

I have the stuff in the back of the throat from time to time. I believe it is when I give in to the urge to have dairy, cheese especially. Giving up sugar helps loads. I do the sinus clense with my netipot every morning and that helps also. Salt seems to help. Now I am not sure but some think that it has to do with candida, yeast. So I gave up bread too. It is never ending trying to find what works best. A good clean diet does wonders though. (something I have a hard time with).

I took the ivermectin, albendazole, menbendezole, they didn't hurt me and seemed to help, but then I had movement all over, like things crawling inside and out. I am not so good at explaining all of the ways to help yourself, but someone will be along to advise you that knows more than I do. Oh, I didn't take all of that at the same time. I have had this for a few years. I wish you the very best and hope you can find help for yourself and son. I will say that I think Drs. are pretty useless. Most don't or won't believe morgs exist. DD

Thanks for the response. I think she plans to have me take it all at once. I had the awful movement with the Albenza and I don't want to go through that again. At least the movement now is slower and more bearable most times and it seems to come and go in 2 week periods. I just can't stand the headaches, chest pain, and mucus buildup that's making me choke. I haven't had any dairy because I can't eat and have lost 15 pounds in 2 weeks.

Megan, Many of us have or are going thru the same things you are talking about. It does seem these goes in stages some days you can be ok the next veryjthing breaks lose. There are many wonderful people on this board who have helped me thru some rough times . its a great support group. I can tell you I have the sinus and eye problems going on now. with the same goo you have coming out. Take salt baths that seems too help. I have had many prescriptions the doxepin seems too help with itching and biting. some antibiotics seem too help me, but they bring other problems like stomach issues.steroids seem too make it worse. hang in there it will get better. sammy

Default I'm not sure I am going to survive today

This is the worst I have felt in my life. I have shortness of breath, can't swallow, my heart is tachy even with the heart meds and my head feels like it is going to explode. They are moving like crazy for some reason. I haven't slept and I've taken 3 baths already plus used benonite clay on my thigh that is the worst. The pain is unbelievable but SOB and choking is scaring me. Can the fibers wrap around your throat? My throat burns and feels like there is a big clump of hair in it.

I wrote a goodbye letter to my family just in case. Has anyone ever done that? You never know right? I just pray to God that someone finds a cure before my son has to go through this.

I'm sorry, I know this is my first time posting here and it just so happens to be a really bad day. I've been wanting to post for awhile but the brain fog was too much and when it wasn't, I was reading and researching. I feel like I know you all from reading the treads. What a way to be introduced huh?

Maybe one way to get tested for Chagas? Try to donate blood? Not that we should donate blood. Too risky. Evidently screening for Chagas is commonly done at blood banks though. The CDC tries to blame it all on transplant patients or those who have received transfusions but it's also being spread in the more southern regions of the US. Some have never been outside the US or had any of the above. Just a wonder as there is some evidence the protozoa can produce what appear to be fibers in lesions caused by that parasite. Many live in the south who have these issues, lesions or fibers or both:

Blood Screening FAQs

On this Page

Why are blood banks now screening for Chagas disease?

The transmission of Chagas disease via blood transfusion is a recognized risk. A screening test has just been approved by the Food and Drug Administration. Screening for Chagas disease makes the blood supply even safer for everyone.
How does the screening test protect people from Chagas disease?

The blood screening test allows blood banks to destroy potentially infectious blood before it is given to anyone. Screening will prevent those who are found to have the disease from donating blood again.
What happens to the blood that tests positive on the screening test?

The blood that tests positive will be removed from the blood supply.
Will I be tested automatically?

Probably. Most blood banks are testing for Chagas disease.
If my blood tests positive on the screening test, does that mean I have Chagas disease?

Probably. However, no test is perfect. Some false-positive results may occur with this very sensitive test. You should discuss your results with your health care provider.

What does a “false-positive result” mean?

A “false-positive result” occurs when an initial test indicates a person has Chagas disease, but further testing indicates the person does not have the disease after all.
Will the blood bank let me know if my blood tests positive for Chagas disease?

Yes. The blood bank will contact you if you test positive for Chagas disease and will provide general information about the disease.
Can I get Chagas disease from donating blood?

No. You cannot contract Chagas disease from donating blood. The needles are only used once and are discarded. Sterile procedures and equipment are routine at blood banks.
Can Chagas disease be spread through blood transfusions?

Yes. The disease can be spread by receiving blood that came from a person with Chagas disease.
Can Chagas disease be spread through donated organs?

Yes. Chagas disease can be spread to an organ transplant recipient if a donated organ came from a person with Chagas disease.
If I test positive for Chagas disease, can I give blood again?

No. You cannot donate again if you’ve tested positive for Chagas disease.
If I was diagnosed with Chagas disease in the past, can I donate blood?

No. If you have ever been diagnosed with Chagas disease, you will not be able to donate blood.
If I have had a transfusion or a transplant, should I be concerned about getting Chagas disease?

Probably not. The risk is very low. You should, however, be aware of the potential risk for Chagas disease infection and the need to monitor your health. If you have symptoms of Chagas disease or other concerns you should contact your health care provider.

it seems to come in cycles, you get better then boom, morgys.. when was the last time your furnace vents were cleaned? is your house dusty/spider webs anywhere? any bugs in windowsills? do you have bedbug mattress covers? now, morgys is not bedbugs, but covering the mattresses here made a huge difference.
also, once a product works, morgys seem to get immune to it quick, so switch from neosporin to diaper rash creme ( to pull them out when really bad) the diaper rash cream covers theur air holes, so putting diaper rash cream then wait with tweezers for the tiny holes then gently pull them out.. only do that when its really bad, and if you ever see blood, stop tweezing.when your pulling out morgys, theres no blood. if you see blood, stop.the point is not to dig in your skin, you want to stay on top of the skin.
antibiotics, you cant take those forever, only when super bad risk of infection, but swicth those too.
best bet. get your cleaning frame of mind, the only way is to attack kind of everything, in your house and on you..
