Hi everyone--im new here to this site---im glad i found it---i am wondering whether i have morgellons or parasites or both, i also have been diagnosed with lyme disease--which is frustrating in itself tryng to find a doctor close enough to you that takes insurance. and forget about infectious disease drs---they are worthless when it comes to lyme. ive been to 3 different ones---and they wont give me anymore meds for the lyme i still suffer from. they deal with you like they are emotionless zombies. so i ended up trying to find supplements that will help me. i have to be careful becuz i also take pysch meds---so i cant just go out and buy a whole bunch of herbs and pop them---i have to be cautious about my choices. but right now im worried and scared about whats going on inside my body----it feels like worms moving around and i get bit sometimes too---but i dont have any lesions anywhere---so im wondering if it really is morgellons. a few months ago i was almost asleep in bed when something 'bit" me in the inside of my "private parts". enough to make me jump up. well a few days later is when i started feeling the worm like squriming around inside "down there". it freaked me out--so i went to the E.R. and they did a gynocological exam with a scope, but didnt find anything. with the way it felt to me--i was sure they would have found internal parasites--but they saw nothing. this has been going on for months now and its not any better--sometimes i will feel them "bite" me "down there" inside--its like theyre making a nest in there but nobody can find anything----i feel them on the soles of my feet too moving around. i even tried horse paste ivermectin for 5 days straight with no results---i still have them---whatever they are. but they arent coming out anywhere---i dont understand this---usually from what ive read---morgellons sufferers have lesions and open sores---and i have none of that. |

| I must admit doctors are mostly working for drug companys, they are near useless, still people go in and say look see the parasites, BECAUSE they feel itching, the doctors look and see nothing, nothing at all. If you were a doctor, and someone was pointing at nothing and saying they see bugs, what would you call them, this has not happened once it has happened more than we can count. If the doctors THINK there may be an issue they call it scabies and give them scabies meds and send them on their way . What most people fail to imagine is there are many things other than bugs that make marks and itching of the skin. Therfe are virus, bacteria, molds, yeast, fungus, chemical irritans, allergies and such, but there are alsosimple minded people that will only see and feel bugs. That I have never seen without a microscope, what do they have xray vision, really, why can't I see them, why won't the people that have them show them, where are all the pictures. I would be GLAD if this was parasites as most are quite easy to kill off, this situation is not simple, it is complicated I would dare to say it has thrown our bodies into advanced ageing, loss of sight, hair loss, age spots, wrinkles, you name it and it will come, LOL. Do yourself a favor, keep a open mind, untill you see a living bug come out of you, be sceptcal. If you a worried about internal parasites do ONE course, do you see the word one, ONE course of wide spectrum anti parasitic drugs, that SHOULD kill all parasites that can be killed by that drug, ask your doctor, also ask one of the bug people here what to buy, where to buy it and doseage, be carful some of these people that are bug manic will have you taking it like candy, always check doseage online for length, frequency and amount of milligrams. If you believe without PROOF any theory that they know the truth then that is fine, just keep this in the back of your head, you are going to have to make it to the doctors office regularly, and quickly, well and I have the perfect car for you to buy to get there, its worth one million dollars, but I will sell it to you for 1000 because you are my new best friend, how do you like that? |

| I hate to diagree with you Baraka, but I have seen the bugs fly away from me. I have also seen them in the bath water. They look like some kind of gnat. I can't show you one because it got away from me. I am not delusional either. I also have seen the worms that were in my nose. So color me simple. Infested, do look at the treatment thread and do what you can to rid yourself of whatever it is you have. I have tried just about everything. Good luck, DD |

| Hello infested. Welcome to MDR. DD gave you a good suggestion. Look under the treatment section on the main page to find that area which has many posts and suggestions from other members. Unfortunately many parasites are extremely difficult to treat due to a slew of issues. And the parasites seem resistant to many anti-parasitical drugs. Unfortunately these drugs have been overused on animals as well as people. Also we do not know exactly what our common infection may be so far, but I do believe that it is important to find what infections you do have. An infectious disease doctor I saw did a lot of different tests on me, for mycoplasma (negative) and for some herpes viral infections. I tested positive for two viral infections and was treated with acyclovir for a year and a half. This treatment did clear up lesions on my back which did not have any parasitic involvement. However even during that same time I had a huge lesion (down to the bone) open on my leg and that one, treated with a salve I have, was deep and revealed a huge weird parasite. I was also given ivermectin and albendazole at that time. BTW I had already been diagnosed with lyme by another doctor before I saw this one. Unfortunately so far there is not a test for unknown human parasites. Not everyone sees parasites but this does not mean they are not there, just that they might be a type that has not been discovered, most likely a microscopic type and possibly one that is in the blood or lymph system. Of course any lesions may just be an infection which causes skin lesions (like the ones on my back which were just viral lesions and healed up with medication). We have heard of one person who was treated for the skin version of lupus and seemed to recover fully. So there is no real way to say that all of us even have the same issues, not until more study has been done with a larger group of people.

| This is only my opinion. I am not a Dr., nurse, or other. I believe it is entirely possible there is more than one issue at hand with M. I cetainly can't say that bugs are not involved. Some are pretty small. I had Lyme after I realized my skin on my face was chaging rapidly and I never saw the tick that bit me. It stopped by, filled its gut, and left. But it left me with a smart bacteria which when treated by a medication, in order to protect itself it changes its life form from a spirochete (sp) to a cyst. Now the Doxycyclene has no affect on it due ti this change. TaDa...the birth of chronic Lyme Disease has begun (which many a Dr does not believe in). We are exposed to germs, microbes, etc., from the day we are born. However, if we have been one of the unfortunate ones who have this biofilm on their body, this is a extemely safe harbor for most bacteris, virus, fungus, and a host of other stuff to exist. Probably stuff science doesn't even know about yet. Not that I am sticking up for Drs. and how they treat anyone with M. This is criminal. I think M is an entity in and of itself but I think it is quite possible there are things going on alongside of M. M may have been the beginning but I believe many more aspects became invited. Being that I di dnot see the deer tick that gave me Lyme Disease, how many ther bugs may have bitten me which I do not know about, i.e. spiders when sleeping. There are so many unknowns about M, I don't think we can disregard anything until it has been deduced. Morgellons is a world wide Stephen King movie. Once you have it and you acquire a trained eye, it is so easy to see it ALL over, inside and outside in our environment. As much as I hate to say this, I think M is here to stay. How could it be destroyed when it is so viable. Viable: Viable or viability is the ability of a thing (a living organism, an artificial system, an idea, etc.) to maintain itself or recover its potentialities. When I pass from this world I am going to be creamated because I believe M is self sufficient. No way is it going to cling on my dead body. It would just be more contamination of the earth. M would smile, make its way into the casket material, find its way out and slide right in with the gras, weeds, trees, etc. So, after all that and what I have been through, my idea is that I can not with peace in my heart, dismiss what others have to say about their experiences. If I didn't have M, I can't honestly say that I might not have doubts. But not any more. What keeps me going is Christ Jesus and knowing God has a plan. posey

| Infested, Most of you symptons you have I have had over the course of 2 years. the biting crawling,I had the actual bugs at first brought them home with me from a condo in sc for 5 most didnt know what I had thought it was a case of lice., doctor after doctor I would take my bugs too them and they would give me different meds, shampoos etc. even my husband contacted these bugs they were different from anything i had ever seen some were like a small grass hopper think more like a spring tail. after taking some advise on here I bought pool salt and filled my tub with a lot of it. that stopped the bugs. then some lesions came. took a while too heal. now Iam dealing with white mucus coming from eyes and nose and black spots on face. along with the little while things. so morgs has many things going on at different times. for your lyme try and see a doctor who is on the lyme web. they usually dont take insurance first visit is 400 but you may get some relief. my friend took amoxcillian for a year for her lyme and is better. sammy |

| Hi infested. I am glad you found us. There is a ton of help here. Angel that helped me so much when I was screaming and not sleeping was "Bubba". Her treatment steps are in the archives. You may want to try pure vaseline for pprivate pasrts. Put some on a tampon and insert it. This has helped some including yours truly. Take some soak bath sin pool salt, helps a lot. Anything sulphur seems to help. You can find Flowers of sulphur on line. Itook tiny amounts internally and mixed with an unscented cream to rub all over me at night so I could get some sleep. These nay help, but keep searching for an LLD and reading the archives. We are all different. although we share some of the same symptoms. Whatever you do don't give up. In HIs Love, Gator |

| Hi Infested, Welcome and sorry that you are here. I don't have lesions, but I do have on my back (a lot of) what looks like pimples. I also have some on my chest, and upper arms. They look like little red dots, pimples. I also and still get the 'bite' sensations, not as much as in the beginning. I also have felt a bite on my private area, but many times I have experienced more of "flutter" in that area. Sounds like it might not be such a bad sensation, but believe me, it's freaky. I guess you do know. My head is my worst enemy with morgellons, the bast---! LOL. The salt baths will feel like they are saving your life sometimes, every time I get into one of my salt baths with really hot water, eucalyptus and tea tree oil I love it and feel so good that I didn't realize the extent of how uncomfortable I was until i emerge my whole body in there. I also only use organic, no sulfates shampoo, soaps, face wash, toothpaste, face cream, all my personal hygiene products are sulfate free. I haven't yet been to a doctor and been tested for lymes. Still no insurance, but working on that. So vitamins and supplements are the only type of "meds" I have. Cat's Claw, the b vitamins, garlic, omega 3 fish, probiotics, are some of mine. This is a great website, I hope you will find help and support that you need here. Ghettogirl |

| No one can ever say enough about a salt bath. Should be called mirical bath.Iodised salt is ok for the first few when its all you have. But switch to non idonised as soon as practical. There is such a thing as Iodine posioning. Non idonised can be bought just like table salt, its labled on the box as non idonised. Pool salt is best for volume soaking. Meaning every day use.Use a box, 33 cents a box is real cheap to feel the good is does. Who ever heard of a fisherman dying from salt overdose? |
