Smile New to morgellons - advice needed

Hi Everyone,

Hope you are well.

My name is Laura and I was just wondering if I could get some advice from you all. Myself, my Mum and our dogs have morgellons + spring tail (we think - have usual crawlie symptoms, muscle spasms, white and black specks coming out of skin, feather senstions on face (no fibers ... yet) etc.) since July, due to some sort of bird mite infestation from our hens.

My queries are the following:

I have stopped doing my ashtanga yoga and jogging, as I found the symptoms would get worse from the sweating. We also got a cheap infrared sauna and again with the sweating, the symptoms seem to get worse for a bit. As we are new to morgellons, would it be advisable not get back into my yoga and jogging, as I really miss it or try and just stick to walking (which sadly does not compare to the effects of a good cardio exercise). Or is there a routine I could do after sweating that would stop making me so crawlie.

We are lucky that we have very few lesions, marks etc and it is mostly the crawlie sensations mainly over head, face and upper back and muscle spasms/twitching, specks coming out of skin, fungus under nails. (I wear tight running gear at night, which stopped a lot of the crawlie sensations on my body at night). I do wear a disposal show cap (tightened) with oil, but does not seem to get rid of crawlie sensations on head.

Finally I am following a healthy low GI diet, as I tried the very stict no sugar of any kind diet for a few months, which did not seem to make a difference.

Look foward to hearing from someone.

Many thanks,

Laura

Hi Laura,,,,sounds lke your morgs doe not like salt.
The sweat contains salt,,,in which your morgellons DOES NOT like.
The sweat though only contains a smaller amount of salt, compared to a salt BATH.
When you exercise and sweat,,its like poking a stick at an ant hill,,,,being there is just enough to make them fight and swarm.

Try purging them with salt baths,(even after some exercise),and do some of the other things found HERE on our site.
Eating SEA SALT in your diet WILL help you too.
You are going to need some antifungals/antiparasitics too.
There are ALOT of things HERE to help so get to reading and get better!!

Welcome to the forums..

Also we are always glad to answer questions,,so feel free to ask..

Hi Laura,

Welcome to MDR! Only me

I'd recommend having a shower and using salt with green fairy liquid (!) to help exfoliate, straight after exercise or FIR use.

Its not just about salt in the sweat - they respond to the moisture too. Exercise and FIR will draw them out - as soon as your body temp rises.

Please feel free to send any samples, email me if you are interested in this. Many people talk of springtails but very few are actually recorded via the microscope. I am very interested to take a look!

All good wishes

Jo

Default Green Fairy Liquid

I just looked this up on Wikipedia for those those of us in the U.S.
Fairy products are made by P&G, sold in the US under the Dreft brand for babies' laundry. There's a Dreft multi-surface spray cleanser as well that's safe for use around babies.

Laura -

DON'T give up your exercise/yoga routines. These are healthy practices and you should try to maintain your overall health while battling this Morgellons problem.

In the beginning I was very sick, and terribly depressed. I had been very strong and active until that time, but since have lost 30% of my bone mass and an enormous amount of strength and stamina. Some of this might be attributable to M, but most is through in activity over a period of a few years.

I am trying to get my strength back, but it is slow going.

Best of luck to you -

SS

Hi Sojii,

As you're in the States, you could try the Palmolive Oxy plus (blue bottle) dish soap:
Palmolive® - Dishwashing Liquid, Soap & Detergent, Dishwasher Gel - Palmolive Original, Antibacterial, Aroma, OXY, Pure and Clear, Dry Skin Aloe, Palmolive Eco

We don't have this in the UK, but a number of US morgies have mentioned it on MDR as a good 'shower gel'.

If you do try it, please report back k!

Jo

Default grapefruit seed extract

A Quart bottle of GRAPEFRUIT SEED EXTRACT WILL LAST YOU A YEAR OR MORE OF TREATMENTS beat off the thing that makes you itch and only cost you $55 dollars.

There are people here that have never used it that will lie to you and tell you all kinds of stuff but they have never used it. The stuff is powerful in strait form you need to water it down until you get the hang of it, if nothing is happening you have too weak of a mixture. You may read about it on this site, my posts come with warnings of usage.

If used in ears it will give you a earache that is about 3 times, after this whatever it afflicted is GONE you will not get more earaches.

the itching inside the ears will be less, if you have tinnitus the volume will go up but then also will diminish as time goes on.

The scalp is another story, it seems whatever this is loves the scalp, when compromised with the invader too strong a solution will send you running for the hospital calling for your mommy, you can not wash this reaction off.

So being careful is the name of the game. Mixture and many applications is the name of the game, after a short period depending on how aggressive you are there will be NO scalp problems.

Keep up your exercise, there is something that works very well for the sweating, ALTHOUGH you may want to wear white sweat shirt and pants, as it will make a mess of any other color cloths, this is beneficial also to wiping out things that multiply in sweat. The concoction is CORN STARCH.

If you do not believe me , believe the millions of mothers that used it on their badly affected baby's bottoms and saw the healing power, this is not my idea but it is a wonderful fix.

Putting it on your body keep a white towel under you put it between your legs under arms and anywhere where sweat will form, of course you will not rub it all over your head and face unless you want to.

CORNSTARCH IT DOES A BODY GOOD!!!! oH YEAH DO THE SALT BATHS, YOU CAN GET POOL SALT AT WALMARTS cheap.

Default Corny

Cornstarch may or may not be good for everyone for these reasons:

Powders such as cornstarch or talc should be used cautiously, as they can be inhaled by the infant and may cause lung injury.

A very small number of people are allergic to corn, these people will get ill if the eat corn or products that contain corn. These same people (including the woman's baby apparently) should not use corn starch baby powder.
