| I sorta introduced myself already but it was in a reply to a posting so, I am here to introduce myself the proper way. My name is Janet, I live in Wisconsin, USA, I have four children- daughter 28 who gave me three grandchildren so far, son-25 yrs, son-17 yrs, son- 15 yrs. We homeschool, I'm disabled with Fibromyalgia, arthritis, many other problems too long to list and then now this. I am so tired of skin problems. I really could have gone without this one!My 15 yr old also has the threads but he does not want to talk about this. My husband has been pretty supportive with everything. A new dermatologist I'd just gone to once had diagnosed me with prurigo nodularis when I fist saw her. I called her nurse, explained what is now going on and asked if she would like to do a skin biopsy. The nurse called back saying that no, she did not need to do a skin biopsy, she was sticking with her first diagnosis and that I could go to a psych doc cause they can give meds for M. I was not too happy with her. I refuse to go back to her. I've been going to my gp who, so far, has been very nice. She so far has not offered to study up on it but I always take in printed off copies of different information for her. I took in a sample of two things from my stool that I thought is related to M. I stopped in at the clinic today to see what the results of that was. She was to look at them under the microscope. The nurse called later when I was out and left a message stating the doc would like to see me. So, I have an appt. with her this Thurs. Anyway, I'm glad to be here with many people who understand what it is like to have this. Thanks a lot for the welcome, Janet |

| Fibramialga and probably ALL your issues are tied to this malady, you are being attacked systemicly. Morgellons is NOT a skin problem, what your seeing are the tumors opening up. These are not lesions they are blood fed tumors. that is why you see dots on the skin that bleed profusely, some times they have little scabs on them if removed blood will run out like someone stuck a nail in and pulled it out. You need not tell a doctor that looks at you like your an idiot that you are sick from this, most likely when you will go in there she will say, you have to stop worrying its nothing. You can pick on your poo all you like but unless you have a microscope and know how to make slides you can not offer anything of quality maybe its the biggest find in history but most likely it will be what you ate yesterday, just an eraser sized piece of poo is more than enough to cover a whole slide. I am not the best with a microscope but neiter am I the worst, i do need some real good equipment and a like minded intelligent person, people to work with, that is a dream actually. Choose your words carfully when speaking with health people, they are CRUEL, you can not TELL them what you have if you are looking for treatment, you can not tell the next doctor you go to that you had other doctors that handed out diagnosis, do not talk about your itching with inclinations of parasites or bugs. I think you will find way more help here but you can try and the doctors can nothing, untill your screaming like a loon, I am sick I am sick I am sick. Yes, you are, we all believe you. I have posted the stories about losing the use of my arm, first a lesion went active it started to burn and the are started to hurt like a toothache, then it traved into the muscle and up the arm, into my neck. Within days I had carple tunnel in BOTH hands. I went to two different emergency rooms, the doctors told me the would not give me drugs for my pain, want to talk about CRAZED, I was not CRAZY I was CRAZED. Where was I to go now. |

| Hi Janquito, I am glad to see your introduction! The skin problems are the most obvious conditions of "M". I also suffered from depression, anxiety, joint/muscle pain. Please start eating organic foods. Go outside every day and get your "shot" of vitamin D (from the sun, 20 minutes/day). Turn off the TV and listen to your faVORITE music. There are so many people trying to sell us stuff to "cure" Morgellons. Find a homeopathic/natural doctor... not easy to do! But maybe you can find a few friends here before you spend a lot of money looking for a cure. Some new members pique my interest... don't know why. welcome ALL In the white light, ~jonsi

| You can hold out until you are absolutly certain that you have this malady! This is not the band wagon you want to jump on, for friendship in your sickness. This disease is so preverse, disgusting, frightening, and to tell the whole truth, morphing into God only knows what. Yes we are sensitive, lovely, helping, unique folks. But just mad as haters, living with a terminal distortion of our humanity. If you haven't seen this, strecth yourself out and invite your imagination to view the whole picture of devastation. Systemic means morgie has allready established more than a beach head. We've been invaded for one very long time, and the enemy has consealed this carefully. The evil master scientist, cant even let all the suffers take the journey in good medical care, nooooo! They are all to be called nuts. So beware this is not a dream ride. Good Luck! Bustercat |

| Hi Janquito, It is nice to meet you. You have some great advice here and very true. We hope to help you as we have all been helped when we were new in our forum here. IMO, our body and immune system does not recognize Morg. Because of this the immune system cannot attack it as it does most invaders. At the same time, the body does know that something is inside that does not belong there and wants to push it out. This is why it is so important to aggressively work on all areas of health esp. in the gut since most if not all diseases start in our intestines. Since at least 70% of our immune system is in our intestines, it would be of the utmost of importance to work hard to keep it cleansed and replenished with good bacteria. Eat a very healthy diet with fresh juices every day. Try to alkalize your diet and eat as much organic as possible. Keep the stress low and focus on the solution instead of getting miopic about Morgellons. I hope this helps, cc
