| Hello everyone. I am the mother of a 20 year old girl whom I believe is suffering from Morgellons. Back in June of this year, it started with some type of bite that lead her to the E.R. At that time, they believed she had staph infections, gave her some antibiotics and sent her home. She doesn't remember really being bit, but there was a bump on her hand (which is still there) and her forearm started swelling up. Since then she has developed sores all over her body that itch, is extremely tired, is losing weight, is losing her hair, and feels that bugs are crawling under her skin. The bottoms of her feet are very flakey and she is shedding black granules from them. The pores on her arms also look very dark, almost black. Whenever she touches things, she believes she is leaving an imprint of oil/smudges in those things. She does not have any sores on her face or around her mouth thus far. As far as I know there have not been the bundles of threads described with this disease, but when she takes hot showers, clear splinters come out of her skin and are all over the tub. She is deathly afraid to go outside near the grass because she believes that the insects are following her. Nighttime is the worst for her. She has never had any psychological problems in the past. This is devasting to her and me. She does not want to go out in public, people think that she is a meth user because of the sores, and her friends do not want to be around her because they think she is contagious. We live in Iowa and would like any suggestions for doctors, alternative medicines, etc. She saw a dermatologist about a month ago and they gave her some cream, but that is not helping. Any suggestions on how to deal with some of the symptoms she is having would be greatly appreciated. |

| Hi Blueeyes! The best thing you can do for your daughter is to treat the symptoms with the basic treatments which you will find in the threads also keeping up with the proper vitamins.there are many helpful people here who can help you with the vitamin protocol.i have not been too good about taking them myself! she can get some relief from these things. we've all experienced the same symptoms it will get easier it takes time but it does get better. | Mine started as a bump after I got hit on the eyebrow with something while mowing the grass. It was very itchy immediately. The bump got bigger and hundreds of sand like granuals came out. Lasted months like that. Then I started getting all types of debris coming out of my face and eyes. I think this M has to be treated like a serious case of intestinal worms that have traveled into the whole system, because the liver is so overburdened it can not Filter all of the toxins from the worms, on top of that the crap in our environment and food. Then Fungus sets in. A lot of the herbs that kill parasites will kill fungus. So start with a parasite colon cleanse. They also help the liver, gallbladder, kidneys, blood. I think those white slivers are young dead worms. The black or brown are Old dead worms. I think it only takes 1 egg to get this, but in could be from the vegetables you eat, kissing your pets or breathing the air. Common sense. This may not be a new disease, just we have the internet to find each other now. |
