Greetings to all. Like the swallows of Capistrano, I have returned to see how everyone was doing with our "one thing in common" problem. This month marks the 25th year of my infection of "morgellons". I still do not know of anyone personally that is infected. In my first post, there were only two people responding and no messages from anyone. So much for the support. I do see that there are a lot more members here than the last time I visited. So, for those of you who feel alone and abandoned by everyone in society. may a cure for this disease be near, and thank you for joining a silent force that will validate the reality of morgellons. If I may reflect over the last 25 years . In dealing with ways to stop the effects of morgellons. I am suspicious of where they are looking for what the cause is. I think maybe that we are looking in the wrong place. A few centuries ago, the medical profession could not determine the cause of a terrible itch that folks would get and named it, "The Seven Year itch" Imagine what their thoughts were when it was discovered that a parasitic mite was causing the itch. Remember the old saying," Those who forget history, are doomed to repeat it" They were looking in the wrong place then, and they are looking in the wrong place now. Without going into a lengthy explanation of why, In my search I have discovered that the reason it appears to be no cure, is because of reinfection. also , the question of actually being infected by an element that is a part of nature and exposed to all. in other words , some feel it and some don't, but everyone comes in contact with it. One thing I am certain of , whether you feel it or you don't, the answer is in the hair. One doesn't need a microscope to look beyond the hair, but needs one to examine the hair as a single parasite. It seems to be a parasite that lives on and off any warm body that possesses hair. This brings me to my latest discovery. We took in a kitten that some one dumped along the road, about four months old, we took her to the vet , looked over and given the proper shots and so forth. Bathed her and de flea her . Every time I pick her up, the same exact feelings I get with the morgellons starts to magnify intensely. I put the cat down, and with in 30 minutes, I am back to the level of intensity that I am all the time. My wife can pick her up and play with her, she feels nothing, I have done this at least 100 times and with the same results. To all of the researchers out there and those in the medical profession, please, LOOK IN THE HAIR. Not the scalp, look in the hair follicle itself. The big question is, why do some feel it and others don’t and what are people doing in life that is increasing the number of those feeling it. Take care to all, Jerry

So are you saying the organisms live in the hair follicles rather than under the skin? I have had no scalp outbreaks. I have lost hair but it comes back apparently healthier than ever before. I have looked at length at my problem areas, arms and legs, and I have seen the black dots rise up from under the skin. at times I have seen a number of fibres sprout up through the skin at the same time same area after I really have worked an area with H2O2 and then Zinc. I shaved my arms and legs (now that's confidential, ha) and it seemed to lessen the itching crawling sensations for awhile. But it's come back with a vengence. ythen ther are the raised bumps under the skin which I have assumed are the mother ships for these fibres and dots. Have you researched to see if anyone, like carnicom, has looked at hairs? I need to get to the bottom of this. My daughter seems to be fine. My dog and previously other dogs seem to be fine. If it picks and chooses then maybe there is something we can take internally that is repugnant to them. I am just writing off the top of my head here - no pun intended. But I am happy to discourse with you. I also am at a point where I will cover myself with almost anything if it makes them go away. I went away this weekend for some r and r, fishing etc and I slept all weekend. Crash

Hi jerry, I thought I was allergic to a couple of my dogs in the past, but it seems they had a certain type of mite that my other dogs didn't have. I was able to wash them off with different types of shampoos.I used seabuckthorn shampoo, I used baking soda, I added Dawn dish soap to the shampoo, or saltwater rinses. Don't give up on the cat. There is a shampoo I use on the horses that the astronaunts use to decontaminate themselves. I use it to because I feel allergic to my own hair sometimes when it touches my face. The ends not the scalp. An over abundance of the regular mites can cause reactions even.

That's what the doctor in Atlanta says (that it's on the hair). She has some treatments listed on her site as well. Sadsack recommended her to me but she is taking no more M patients. Her partner is, but doesn't take my insurance. Unfortunately, I'm not independently wealthy, so...

| This "Morgellons" was IN my hair. I could feel biting sensations and see fiber-optic looking stuff shooting out of the ends. Jerry, I hope you are finding some support now. If you ever want to talk to someone "in-person" you can send me a pm & we can talk. It is much faster to share info on the phone. In the white light, ~jonsi
