Hello,
I met a nice friend who comes from here and speaks so highly of you all he encouraged me to introduce myself.So I am,but very new to this.
I have had morgellons for over 6 yrs and just this last yr found out what it was.
Since then,like all of you wonderful people in here I have been searching for answers.
Like you, I really wish to get well.
Meanwhile I built a website dedicated to trying to help find doctors who are morgellons friendly(and have been blessed to find a way to network and search for docs in almost every state) and also have in the process found lab testing which uncovers some of the underlying issues involved with morgellons.
The labs are Great Plains labs and they test for bacterias,fungus,and parasite but also kill each found with specific prescriptive and herbal agents to see which works for you.Everyone is different.
This saves guess work on which herbal or which antibiotic to use to kill our underlying bacterias or fungus etc.
I talk all day with people to try and help any way I can ,it is my joy.
Its very late so I am hoping this makes sense and hoping to get to meet some of you wonderful people.

Glad you set up camp here. Are you aware that Nancy Guberti is going to be moderating a conference call with Great Plains Lab on Wed., May 5. I'm going to be listening in.

I would love to work with them, unfortunately any doctors that work with them are prohibitively expensive. Even Nancy is.
I want to find out if my acupuncturist could interpret the results. She is a pretty outstanding person.

Conference Call on Great Plains Labs Morgellons – A Mundane Approach

For sures, I will be on the conference call as well.

In fact I will be hosting and sharing about the process we have seen in Morgellons and hope to do a good job on the technical end.
Nancy is the speaker and will be covering the testing and why,and the process involved with all that.
I am very excited to get to talk with everyone.
I was told you are all really great people,and it seems so.

I would like to tell you this to encourage you.
My new doctor is from a GPL recomendation and she has me bill my VA Ins., which is government - and they pay a portion of my bill.

In addition we now see the Metametrix DNA GI EFFECTS test shows many more parasite and bacteria than most.
Most take 5000cells to show foreign DNA the metametrix GI EFFECTS stool test shows foreign DNA with only 5 cells foreign DNA.
That is my basic understanding of it.
But the best thing is my doctor said she had a patient that had the testing done who had been trying to find a parasite she knew she had been trying to pin point for 10 years and the DNA test found it.

I have had GPL testing and found 4 nasty 4+ Bacterias and 4 nasty 4+ fungus growing under a no earthly good layer of BIo film .

The Lab found these then tryed killing with prescriptive and natural agents and listed which ones worked for me.
Everyone is different.

I was re tested and 3 of the Bacteria were gone - this was after I used the recomended prescriptions and natural agents that testing showed I needed.
Next step is the DNA - I want to see if I can TAG this critter.
Wouldn't we all like to do that?

Great Plains and Metametrix are a gift to us because they use Integrative testing(conventional and Natural medicine)

We have come so very far in the last year from having a horrible situation every time we went to the doctor to Doctors who would treat the underlying things involved with Morgellons and treat the whole patient.
Thats pretty incredible.

We also found in the last year that the sydrome is associated with different levels of Bacteria,fungus,and unamed parasite(or GPL testing shows 'no ova present'). The interesting thing is each person has their own set of bacterias,and levels of severity - own set of fungus and severity and need for natural herbals which treat parasite/fungus.

One of my friends had little bacteria and HUGE fungus so she got away with only using a herbal for the bacteria and needed a very strong prescriptive anti fungal.
She and her husband are well by the way,no more sores.
They were young,and only had it for a year.

It is my prayer that when the first round of us go through the Metametrix DNA testing we will name the little critters.

We know they are there we see them..we can identify them,we can even show them the back yard lab photos and videos,and we can tell the Docs they are there -but I want the LAB to say 'THIS IS A ______and name it!

I had no less than 3 parasite tests with NO results. always had a funny feeling they were wrong and read a post online about ozone infusion and colon health. Purchased a ozone machine previously using it to clean pesticides and pests off of food. What I found after infusion of the ozone gas into the colon was a mess of yellow bio film. While trying to get a sample of this to look at on the microscope a strand that could not be seen, because of its similar color, came out of the mucus.

The mucus had alot of these things in it, worms most likely but what are they, that is a question, I had NEVER seen these things in my dung before, not like this anyway, Ozone is away to rid the colon of this mess and thus being able to actually see whatever kind of worm, THING,...... IT is

Would you mind terribly sharing which tests you had?
In some cases the labs only do standard testing without extended looks for other bacterias and parasite.
Even though the Great Plains showed 'No Ova present' it also showed personally I needed to use 3 natural herbals which treat Parasite/fungus.

It is my hope that Metametrix GI EFFECTS DNA testing will show us something.Only the first round of people going through this will tell us huh?

well now ........hay ya Bam Man!!,, since I had this,.. been coughing up lots of stuff...................pmc!... how do ya find Doctor's fer folk??? how long does it take??? .....I've seen the site,.. so I understand part of what ya do......lot of folk here are health ornamented,...I did like the talk by the Doc!. lol ..sorry... he explains things.... in simple language that was easy for me to understand,....I understand RNA by PCR I can see how it's possible to retrieve dna samples from the gut or stools . ....thanks pmc!
