lol Jane, you come prepared.

It's nice to see the pictures as far as being able to have a better reference point of your experience. I saw the one of the house interior and it did look like it would be lots of work to get everything M-free.

About the steamer, I'm sure it makes it easier, I just was not sure if the steam might spread the Ms a bit more, but I'm sure you have seen how it goes last time you used it. Let us know how it goes.

that steamer thing is way easier than i thought it would be, i guess my folks bought it years ago for the drapes, but never used it.i found it and it works, but the wand is short, lol, my only complaint.
yeah, this house is huge.. it hadnt been cleaned in 20 years.my dad built most of this house himself, when my brother was here he had my dad so scared nobody could call or come over, crack pipes everywhere, i saw in my dads eyes he gave up. he bought a new pistol ( hes got a big gun collection already) and i knew what he was gonna do with it.. i made a vow to myself to give this man his house back, give him some pride that he once had in this house.the den, he lifted those beams himself!! when he was way younge of course...but there was no way in hell i was gonna sit by and let this punk brother use and abuse him, he had to go. im adopted, so i guess ive got a strong sense of loyalty, im just glad i could see the guy happy in his shop again. the garage my car is in is full of tablesaws, bandsaws, worksbenches, a FULL woodshop that my bro had all but sold off, my dad wasnt even allowed to go into the den or the shop for fear mike would go off.my dad had to double bolt his own bedroom at all times! thats so wrong!! now he doesnt even have a lock on his door.for the first time in 20 years, the relatives from bakersfield came here for thanksgiving...it was cool...
so i guess thats why im so big on the cleaning, now that ive started, i want this place up to my standards, this is a beautiful house!! it needs to look like one...

wow, that is an amazing gift you are giving your dad! What a wonderful thing to do for him!!! It's kind of ironic you got this thing while you were just trying to step in to help someone. I know of at least one other person who also got this when she was trying to help ppl w a clean up project.

About the steam cleaner, maybe if you can have something on your arms, and/or hands when you use it so hopefully you dont get any M steam on you.
