I have endured these things for almost 2 years now...i've seen my dr. which referred me to a dermatologist ...they took scrapings , asked me if i was taking drugs or was having family issues...i told them i have never done drugs , nor have i been abused ..me and my hubby get along just fine...been married for 32 years this july...they prescribed for me antidepressants and anti itch pills with cortisone, said it was due to stress and sent me home...i have these on my scalp, my arms, legs and back..my scalp is worse...i have tried everythig i can think of to get rid of them...nothing seems to work...i dont sleep weand have lost weight ...always feel bad , have many samples under scotch tape..also have veiwed them under microscope..i know it is not stress and i am not insane yet...it is some type of insect, larva, or something unknown...i have gotten them off my scalp and they start out as pinpoint whitish to clear or tan bugs and i have seen them move..they move slowly but do move...the dr. even told me i was dellusional...i am not....i have pictures of these things and will post them soon..i at one point put hair dye on and when i rinsed it out ..these things was gel like and was larger...after rinsing my hair i took a second look at the masses that came from my scalp and i freaked out ...it scared me to death...i drove to the ER and was crying all the way there...thats where i got the terrible treatment also..they gave me the drug deal speech...again i told them no ..i only have taken vitamins and some prescription meds and maybe a few herbal supplements....they gave me a shot of valium and sent me home with anti-ich tablets...i see they are of no help so i have been searching the internet for some solutions and ideas...i've read a few things on here and it sounds like a winner...hope i can get something to work to get these things gone, before i do lose my insanity.

Hi Lana and welcome to the one place that might be able to help you with symptoms. I found a lot of help on the treatment thread. Read what others are going through and find what they had that sounds like your symptoms and try to follow their advice. I hope you get the help you need. Just ask or pm anyone that you think can help you. Everyone here wants to help others, some just go about it differently. DD

It is nice to meet you. We are also glad that you found us here in this great support and research site.
We understand everything that you are going through.

I found answers that are working for me through research here on this site and elsewhere. I am doing much better and I now have hope for full recovery.
The only activity I have left is in my ears, eyes and mostly in my skull area. It was all over my body and now I no longer have any wounds, itchy, biting, or crawling feelings.

You will also find things to help you as you stick around and research also.

This sounds all too familar I cant tell you how many bottles of valium i have and different pres for itching. Doctors are all the same send you on your way and tell you your crazy. we have all been thru this . I just went last week and got a shot of cortizone in my head. and didnt tell him the bug story. I have a lot of bugs in my head any where w hair and also the fibers that keep coming. My husband blames it on anything black i wear. I too am upset with the medical profession. no one will help thank god for this web site

Welcome to the forum. DD (Dizzy Dame) had some great advice for you already, as the treatment section on the main forum page has a lot of threads which discuss different treatment options, some of which may help.

If you have questions there is usually always someone around for support. Some may even share a virtual with you in chat.

Hello Everyone, Still scratching and itching...trying the Borax and the peroxide..it helps somewhat...trying this 2x day...hope it will start working to calm things down, guess i got to give it some time
