Default im new, learning im not alone

this sire is really helpfull, im thinking im crazy or something, my dad thinks im nuts, so its great that others are having the same thing as im going through.
i recently moved in with my 84 year old father, he was being abused by my brother who thrashed the house, had nasty females staying here, etc. the entire house smelled, so ive been cleaning pee, puke and general 11 years of neglect since i got here. well, i broke out in a rash. my dad says im crazy since he doesnt have a rash. but im not.( well, maybe a little crazy, haha, joke) im not a drug user, i dont have any STDs. im not on meds and i havent changed my food or anything, ive gone down the list and still cant figure it out.
being on stupid medi cal, doctors are limited.we did have 2 pest control guys here, so we ruled out bed bugs, but bug guy #2 found these very tiny, small white bugs, looked like hair until they moved.these were on my bed frame. i started noticing hairs coming out of my skin, now keep in mind, im trying my very best not to get crazy or paranoid here, picking bugs out of my skin makes me look like a dope fiend or nuts, but they are there! i pulled a few out with tweezers, id put some hydrogen peroxide on a soar and bugs would crawl out. ive been online almost nonstop here, and im glad i found this site, its been helpfull in that im not alone.
i finally found a doctor ( dermatologist) that will see me if i pay cash, its an hour from my home and they dont take medical, but its an appointment.
well, thats me.. im 42 female, living in so california..ive got a 22 year old son thats married and lives out of state, im caring for my elderly dad and playing host to a bunch of stupid buggys that apparently love the way i taste..
thanks for having me, peace

WOW! What did the bug guy say they were? That was one of the first things that happened w me!!! I never did find out what they were. I lived in a hotel for 3 months while I tried to figure out what to do, then I just threw everything away and moved.

In my case, the landlord put up several bird feeders in the small cement enclosure in front of my door. There were bunches of birds and I had no choice but to walk back and forth thru all the bird droppings, etc. each day. Also she burned her charcoal BBQ every day in front of my one and only window in a place w no other ventilation. Did you have anything like that going on at your dad's place?

I'm in So Cal too...north LA.

The inexpensive things that helped me the most initially were:

1. baking soda poultices and dry baking soda on any sore. I started immediately and would reapply at least once an hour. It burned but I became pretty much sore free almost immediately. Also sometimes if I was itching I used the baking soda like a dry scrub and it seemed to tear up the things on my skin. I have one sore now, the but baking soda is removing it.

2. I took baths in Epsom Salt from 99Cent Store (along w whatever oils, like tea tree I could afford) every day for hours! At first I even slept in the baths sometimes, lol.

3. Also fiber w probiotics, probiotics, enzymes, etc. I also took antibiotics, anti-helmitics, and anti-fungals, which I feel helped me a LOT, but I know some ppl do not like that. The weird thing is, I was person who had almost never had taken any of those things before. I would not even use Novocaine at the dentist. But I feel there are cases where Western Med is needed and it helped me. But you might not need it.

Good luck and welcome!!!

all my dad remembered the bug guy said was 'some kind of larve'..( dads 84, forgets details sometimes) from what i found online, i think it may be some kind of termit? its super small, looks like a small, white cat hair, ( i have a dog, not a cat.dog is brown, no fleas) but it moves.if it werent on a dark colored steel matress frame, the guy probably wouldnt have seen it.
see, this carpet in this room has been in 3 rooms already, they didnt pull up the old carpet. im not a germaphobe or anything, im a person that doesnt mind hardcore cleaning because i cant stand the smell of pee.this room feels gross, even though ive shampooed the carpet 5 times.my brother and his friends really did a number on this house.
my rash is something i got here.its either exema from doing my dads laundry, or its bugs. now i never would have thought bugs until i saw a picture of a rash online that looked like mine.
i see ( hopefully) a dermatologist tomorow, wish me luck.ive got a baggy that ive been putting 'samples' in, but i dont want to get locked in the loony bin, them thinking im harming myself, because im not.when i put peroxide on the rash, squeez gently with my fingers, a white hair comes out. but it looks exactly like the little hairs on my bedframe...AARRGGG!!! stupid bugs, im getting the creeps typing this..lol.
its a good thing im not real social going out type, rashes arent a big selling point when it comes to getting a boyfriend..
