Hi dear friends, Finally found the way to introduce myself. My gratitude for all the info and help I have found on this site. We certainly do need another family to turn to when we have this dreadful disease, - the understanding and insight into our problem - is so comforting and often very amusing. We certainly need a laugh. I have had this for nearly 2 years, (having had systemic Candida for many years through excess of antibiotics)and have tried all the same products recommended,as everyone else. A whole cupboard full of different products and gone from despair to hope and back to despair and hope again. At the moment my latest remedy is D.E. I left off the MMS as I always felt nauseous taking it. Just recently (3 months) my face, has (fibers, - hard to scratch off), and my eyes chin, collar bone and shoulders are the most troublesome, and it takes me hours to bath, cream and extract the eggs? larvae? or whatever they are, off me, before I feel clean enough to venture out anywhere. This has been getting worse the last week or so. Has anyone please got the magic remedy to purge these things out.? Coconut oil is quite good - but doesnt stop them constantly coming out I would love to hear how you are coping and how you keep on top of things. How your energy levels are - are you always tired? etc. I wish everyone upliftment, energy and hope for the future. BFN Cayly

Welcome Cayly~ You've got to get rid of the Candida. Please read my threads/posts by doing a search in the home page. It can be a very serious condition. My personal belief is that if you have larvae in your skin, you probably have gungus gnat larvae because the fungus gnats are attracted to the candida fungus. Others will give you their opinions as well and we have many great, intelligent researchers here. I'm sure there are other parts to the puzzle, but in the meantime, you have to get rid of the candida no matter what. Kritts

Welcome Carly, I agree about working to get rid fo the Candida. I saw someone mentioning a product called Candex in another thread (probably Kritters). As a quick fix this might help you. I find the face and upper body things come from the hiar. So I have to use a THICK rubber band (no hair bands becaue they make it worse), and metal clips. Then I PLASTER half a bottle of Aqua Net Super Hold hairspray on. I look scarier and uglier than you can imagine. But it is the only thing that kept it at bay when the hair things are acting up. Maybe that will help you. I dont know. The coconut oil is great and I spray lots fo things in my hair like Rosemary, etc. Hope that helps a bit. The main thing we all have to do is detox completely to build up our immune systems and get these things OUT!

I shave my head down to 1/4" and wear hats... Kinda scary too! Pyrithione zinc dandruff shampoo, ie head and shoulders was the one that worked for me for a while. I'd put it on in the morning after a shower and leave it. Toxicity be damned, it killed the itch! Maybe you could get a prescription for flucanazole or nystatin to beat back the excess yeasties,(along with a low sugar diet of course! ![]()

maybe try, after you've washed your hair, take watered down (4 parts h2o/1 part ACV) Apple Cider Vinegar in a spay boot, spray hair and rinse very lightly. YOu should still be able to smell the ACV, just a bit. The smell will go away after your hair dries. Taking it even further, make green tea with h20, make 2 parts h20, 2 parts green tea-h20, 1 part ACV. Just some thoughts......kill the fungus-control the itch.

I didnt think of gnat larvae, - do you think it could also be caused by moths. For a few years I had been troubled by them (not this year - probably because of all the spraying in kitchen) even found them in my seed food jars, and wondered if I could have eaten their eggs before I found them? ugh awful thought. Of course it could have started through other causes. I will read through your threads/posts with interest to get the best products for Candida. Take care Cayly I hope you receive this - my delete button gives me problems sometimes. |

Hi Cayly, Jo is our resident expert on the fungus gnats and other flies/moths etc. I'm sure she'd be happy to answer any question regarding them. I'm still researching on the Candida and so far don't have conclusions about the best thing to take, but I'll be sure to post what I find out. Kritts
