Talking Hi Hi!

OK, it is an AMAZING day outside and it seems that I might have soaked off most of my skin monsters in the bath last night, so I thought it proper to make my intro whilst in a unseasonably good mood - since they are so rare these days....

Uh, sometime listener, first timer caller. I am not exactly sure WTH is going on with my body and house, but I am full of theories that change by the hour. Lets see - I think I am sort of a run of the mill sufferer - I have had ultra lesions from hell that nothing helped but sleeping a few days through it. Compared to some of the stories here - I feel overwhelmingly lucky to have the level of infection I do.

I wanted to start out on a positive foot, but in reality I am mostly freaked out constantly by all of this. Desperation is most definitely a common word in my vocabulary now. But then again it seems I can always snap myself out of it when I notice that I am actually arguing with inanimate objects as I am cleaning. I must be a sight, lol. My Cat seems entertained at the very least!

I have millions, but a few questions about some symptoms that I have not readily found on the boards - is anyone else bothered by a large 'roaming' patch of numbness? Also - My S.O. is afflicted - but it is a major point of contention as he thinks all of this is in my head. Does anyone else have this issue? He definitely suffers, and constantly complains of al the same symptoms I seem to be having, but blames them all on exhaustion or overexertion from biking. So far I just pretend along with him, and prepare as many witchy concoctions as possible to soak him in, clean his house like crazy while he is at work. It is a nice level of constant denial - but I would love any advice or suggestions on how else to deal with him. I know we pass them back and forth and as literally painful as that is there is NO WAY I am giving up Movie night cuddle time! lol. THAT is where I draw the line....

Anyhow, Hi and Hello, SO glad to be here and definately hope to be able to give something back - as this board has already been so amazingly helpful already!

Cheers,
Combat Entomologist

Hi combaten! Welcome.

I have met so many people in denial too.

They deny the lesions, muscle aches, brain fog, bites, black flecks etc...

I'm so glad I have ya'll to share with.

In the white light,
~jonsi
