What are the black specks? I am new here is my story...

My symptoms started two months ago when I moved to a new apartament and felt crawlings at night. Felt some bites too but not many. First of all 3 months ago I think I used a bed sheet that was tinted with morgellons. I remember getting it out of a closed and opening it a bit to give to my son, he said, urgh look at this! I with ingenuity said, well this is only lint! And put the bed sheet to wash. When I moved I remember using the "clean bedsheet" and there was a mild bite sensation with it. I stopped using and washed again. After that sitting in my desk an insect, ant bit my toe, and the crawling began, mostly eyes, ear and nose.

I thought was something invisible until I looked closely to my bed sheets and saw all these black specks. Horrible! I thought I had bird mites called the exterminator. Nothing much helped but somewhat it diminished. One night I got an odd painful bite on my little toe, and when I lifted the sheets this gooey odd stuff with hairs , with an Y inside and the color of my lavender sheets was right by it.No way that thing came from me... I cannot stomach that yet... plus it was too big to be there and there were no sores of any kind but I noticed that somehow I was had more freckles than before.. Next night I woke up with a pink eye, and used some antibiotic for eye on it and got better but I had the sensation that something was inside my eyes, ears and nose. The eyes got better.

Years ago I was diagnosed with Arthritis and possible mild lupus... and I usually feel tired, now even more plus I had a frozen shoulder and a pain in my right side as if I had a bowling ball inside of me, felt really sick.. So I went to a new doctor as I just start working at home full time with insurance (that up to now is investigating pre existing conditions, damn them). I told the doctor I had bugs, he said, call the exterminator and did a blood test, I also did my anual OBGY that reccomended a sonogram and a Ultra sound. News now is that I have fibrosis, the side of a golf ball, and my blood tests come different, the ANA came negative ( YAY! first time in 5 years) but cholesterol and sugar high and the inflamation markers high.

Anyhow I collected all the black specks I was seeing in my bed and the ones that were bitting me and sent to Cornell to see what mite was that! I was baffled the day the results came, fiber pills, carbon and a link to Morgellons Research.
I could not belive it. No way. But read a thread that said Eucaliptus oil, I drenched my bed on it and they seemed to diminish. The next time the exterminator came, it was quite funny, not many black specks around. Though I see them EVERYWHERE.
So I took a bath with Epson salts + Sea salt and noticed little black lace like tiny things floating in the water. I cried and locked myself in the house waiting for the worse. I also noticed that the silver ring I always wear was oddly black in color...

I slept with peppermint oil on my ears, that was not clever as it burned my ears but I got to sleep...

Anyhow, I mentholated my room, use eucaliptus spray and peppermint spray in everything, was my clothes and myself with Dr. Boomers Peppermint oil.

Last night got tea tree oil all over me, and these tiny bit black dots came out of it specially on my feet and hands. What are they? eggs? After the tea tree oil the crawling began again... eyes , ears and nose. I had the menthol going at night so I could sleep.

As I said, I have freckles but not sores, see some fiber in clothes but in me mostly black specks and some tiny curled fibers when bathing.
I am afraid of bathing now, as re-infecting myself. Have been taking showers.
I gave my doctor the results from cornell with the link, he found amusing and funny. Maybe now he thinks I am nuts... Where do I find a doctor?

( I think sometimes that I am because, at night I can "hear" these things, seems in my pillow but I actually think is in my ear, how else I can hear them?)

Basically I am drinking DE, twice a day, Omega 1 capsule twice a day, ?I peppermint and eucaliptise my bed sheets every night and every clothes I wear. I shower with Dr. Broomers peppermint soap, wash my clothes in it too. Now I am thinking of using also tea tree oil on skin. Vaseline also has somewhat the same effect. What to do with the nose crawling?? I put Vick Vapor rub on it.

I also took a bath with Alfalfa but seems odd as I have no idea what is fiber and what is alfalfa...
Also... alcohol... alcohol is sugar how does it kill them if they like sugar
I feel joint pain and cramps, at times stomachaches.
AND I SERIOUSLY think is a fungus...

What are the usual phases?
What are the carbon black specks? Where is the MAIN thing so I can grab it and pull it apart if I can!

Hello, I had all of these problems and more as I went through that torture for 2 and a half years. You should read the thread about fungus and the relation to morgellons. Have you ever had mold or leaky water problems?

This started long ago for you, the new problems may be from some extra NEW adaptations of the invader. Arthritis and all that other stuff you have had is the result of having it already for a long time. I am starting to think somthing has been added to the disease, how i do not know but it has changed.

I think about that sometimes... that started long ago because of Lupus. But they said Lupus in my case is genetic and mild. ) my sister, is much worse and she has it since she was 5 and we live in different countries. Mine showed up only in adult life. The only coincidence is that Lupus symptoms started after I moved out of Florida in 2003.

But that thought does not make too much sense because I have ever had fabric pills or carbon speckles before. No itching, no biting, no skin freckles....
Also how can be explained the symptoms started after that tinted bedsheet... I am now sure that the "lint" there wasn't really lint.... That was the begining of all. THAT I am SURE!
Now, I am also SURE that at the moment, I feel so much better as crawling and biting diminished a great great great deal with the eucaliptus oil and peppermint daily sprays, and the Pine Sol mopping and dusting in my environment. I barely see them in the bathroom anymore.
I also go around with a lint roller morning when I wake up and night, picking up the stuff. The fabric pills diminished quite a bit, and the specks also. Also I do not believe the fabric pills I see are inside of me. There is no way they came out of me because I have no sores and they are much bigger than my pores, unless they come out tiny and somehow attracted other stuff around and involved themselves on it.

FORE SURE, this stuff is attracted by static. And also I found one or two on the wall, and when I lint roll areas I have not been in, like the cover of the chair I never sit in, they are hanging in there, usually in the form of a tiny black speck, a bit bigger that seems to untie itself, for it or is a fiber then, looking like a normal black fabric, or a tiny fabric pill like this> .~ My bed is not far from the floor and I see them hanging on the sides, ready for a lint roller. I just bought a higher bed because of it. For sure also they like some kinds of fabric, specially the ones that are doubled, and stay in the middle.

I think some are right to say to REALLY take care of the environment we live in. I do not know how this thing evolves, what comes first the speck or the fabric. What will happen with these light freckles. Are they old bites? Were they inhabited by the specks? I think things come in , not go out, though anything that comes in one day will maybe go out...

Maybe even the specks are eggs... not sure... I have found some odd looking white transparent tiny and skinny white ones, usually hanging in the clothes. not sure is these are just threads, like polyester or something else.

I want to read stories of how people think these began and what are the symptoms, if progressive or not.

Not really. But this apartment that I moved to is a bit dark, the bathroom is humid but th rest of the house is not really. Though last summer New York was pretty muggy!

This water thing puzzles me, as I think they move by static, if is humid, then there is not much static, is there.

I have a VERY FUNNY feeling that the black specks are a result of the same thing that makes the black tubes form. If you take a good look at it in the blood or the yellow goo you will see a black speck that this syuff foems from also.

For the first time in 7 years, my blood test came different.


1. the doctor upon taking my blood, said he noticed I bleed easy, as the pinprick from the needle was bleeding for quite a while. That is news...

2. The ANA, which is a Lupus Marker, came negative for the first time ever.

3. The sugar was high.

4. The inflammation markers were lower but still present.

The sugar puzzled me....

It is cool here and rainy. My eyes each, and my eye sight is horrible today as if I had a film on it. and itch as if I had sand on it too.
