 I'm back - just want to say hello! POST 1
Hi, I am at my wits end with this crap. I've had the SYMPTOMS - not the disease since early 2004. It started with crawlies around my temples and hands, mainly fingers and I've been to OVER 50 doctors of ALL types and I've had three docs see "something" but by the time the session was over they didn't know what to do, or say. The rest of the SOBs wouldn't even look through the pocket microscope I'd always bring and tell me in no uncertain terms that I was delutional. Oh gez, what next? Thank God I haven't had them do much damage lesion-wise but if not for TTO/H. Peroxide and rubbing alcohol I've made it through the years. OF course I've had some great people who email me every few days and we give each other hope. Linda from W. Virginia, Trisha and JO are all good people in my eyes. I'm not sure how this board works (I've ben off boards for a while) so if I'm out-of-bounds and breaking up the party, I'm really sorry! Please just let me know. I'm just here to say hello and try to get the hang of a board back. When I first got the symptoms I thought I had scabies and when a woman named Penny "nicely" said, "I think you have worms" and gez, I almost jumped out a window!! But, I've had to self-diagnose myself so often I've become desensitised to just about everything. Well, I feel for everyone here and I'd love to hear from you! Thanks for your time. ~ Artie ~  |
