Greetings everyone, this is my first post so I'm not sure if I'm in the right section but I wanted to share my experience and info as I know we are all desperately seeking some sort of solution. My name is Wildflower. I am 36 yrs. old and I live in Tampa Florida. I want to share a brief description of my life because finding common threads has been a part of my research. I am an artist and have traveled extensively throughout central and south america. I went to nursing school and worked in different hospitals for several years but dropped out and studied herbalism because I got disillusioned by the medical industry. I have been an herbalist for over 10 years now and have helped hundreds of people (including myself) build a sense of understanding and knowledge of plants and how the body interacts with them. With that said, what I did get out of working in the main stream medical system was an understanding of medical terminology and basic understandings of the human body and various dis-eases that we deal with. I am not a doctor and don't claim to be one but like anything else, being in the realm of health for so long does give one a deeper understanding of the many faucets of this vast field. I have been dealing with the physical symptoms of this strange affliction for about 6 months now but the more I research the more I realize that it's probably been much longer that this has been destroying my essence. my main symptoms: skin lesions - arms, legs, face fibers - mostly black, sometimes blue, red, white, even green and hot pink black specks on skin joint pain - mainly left thumb (can't move in the am) fingers, toes fatigue mental fog - I was diagnosed a year ago with ADD I've read everything from "alien attack" to gov. conspiracy and while I'm a very open minded person I've come to the decision that ultimately it really doesn't matter when, where, who, or how but WHAT can we do to help, heal, and educate ourselves about both CURING and PREVENTING this horrible affliction. I've waited to make any posts anywhere until I felt I had a better understanding of the physiological aspects of what exactly we are dealing with. This disease carries with it the nature of both bacteria and fungus but also something else that enables most doctors to be able to rule these two features out with no other explanation leaving us scratching our heads and being sent to a psychologist. After much digging I've come to the conclusion that the root of this is an altered or "weaponized" version of probably various strains of mycoplasmas. Mycoplasma bacteria has no cell wall, is extremely small, and is undetectable by standard blood tests. I call it bacteria but it is and it isn't. Most antibiotics work against bacteria (eg. strep, staph, ect...) by breaking down the cell wall hence dissabling the ablility of the bacteria to have the ability to function any further. Mycoplasma bacteria used to be harmless but the human desire "to go where no man has gone before" has pushed us (scientist, government, ect...) to want to push the envelope in discovering more and more. Biological weapons have been around since the 40's (possibly longer) and have been and are being used on various levels. Sometimes these weapons are used to try to help us have stronger crops (ie.. the weapon is against invasive organisms that destroy crops) and are call GMO's (genetically modified organisms) they are "designer bugs" used to target their enemy (aphids, worms, and different crop pests) but not humans - sounds great right - but playing God has it's price. As these microorganisms develop over the years, they get stronger and stronger and sometime evolve to levels that allow them the ability to invade larger hosts. Sometimes these weapons are intentionally targeted at humans and are tested on various levels such as - immunizations, mosquito spraying, improper disposal of toxic waste from the research facilities ect... Don't think this could possibly be true? If you spend enough time researching data, history, and cycles you may be suprised. I know this post is lengthy but please bear with me a bit longer - I found an article that really helps to sum up just what I'm talking about and while it's not the total picture, it's easy to understand and may help many of you redirect your attention from pointless and useless information to something of value. I feel that the reason we all share so many symptoms in common but yet there are many variations is because once your system gets overloaded with these mycoplasmas, it really depends on your genetic disposition and where your particular body is weak - if you look up any disease (aids, cancer, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, diabetes, ect......) you will find that the "symptoms" of morgellons are found but not totally inclusive to the symptoms of almost every know disorder out there. It is my belief that mycoplasmas are at the root of every seemingly "incurable" disease, it's just a matter of how overloaded you are with them and how good your immune system can fight them. Finally, I will post what systems I am using to fight this if anyone is interested (homemade herbs, ointments, ect...) I just don't want to waste anyone's time if the info won't be of value to anyone. I'm finally getting results and am feeling stronger everyday - healing doesn't happen overnight - there is no miracle pill but there is a solution and one must be patient and consistant. I send my deepest love and heart to all of you who are suffering as I know that as many tears as I have cried over this, that there are others who are even worse off. Thank you for the forum.

Welcome, Wildflower - You are not the first one to suspect Mycoplasma as the root of Morgellons. Mycoplasma fermentans is named more often than any other strain. My own thoughts are that something else starts this, but certainly Mycoplasmas can be complications in many cases (along with many other complications). As with many "diseases", often the "complications" cause the more serious problems, including death. Obvious examples would be AIDS or the flu (pneumonia is usually the cause of death with flu). So - even if Mycoplasmas (or fungus or any other possible co-infection) are not the origin of the infection, treating them through whatever means will help people get better. I don't think that whatever is causing this can ever br eradicated from the body. But if the hitchhikers are minimized or eliminated, then a person can enjoy good health and physical comfort. So thank you for whatever contributions you care to make, as I am sure they will help many. You may also pick up some tips here as well. Finally, I hope that you can attend the Tampa Support Group that meets the last Sunday of each month at 2:00 pm. It is at Dr. Cheryl Reed's office on W. Swann. I will be making a regular announcement over the weekend. SS

Hi Wildflower, what a pretty name. I don't know about others, but I am always interested in others protocol. Please tell us what it is you take etc. One never knows what they might learn. DD

Hi Wildflower, I would say welcome but I cannot think of a worse condition than morgs at the moment ... please post your findings ... I would really like to give it a go ... I just have to feel better and try to do some more work. Feeling so lousy for so long takes it's toll so yes please post your findings. Is it possible the nasties are being delivered via the "chemtrails"? Take care, talk soon, Glyn.
