Lightbulb Aloha from Hawaii-

Hi.. Iam a 38 yr old healthcare worker from Hawaii.I have had Morgellons for almost 14 yrs. I have so many questions and there are so many answers here. I have posted my poll answers and found it interesting to compare my Morgellon symptoms with others. Seems like I have a mild case, but I go out into the sun ALOT and that really seems to keep the symptoms of creepy crawly aches and pains under control ,if I have no time to sun bathe...the bottomline will be -I suffer all night.

I can't wait to read the posts..'thanks for this site I am now gonna be able to vent or get answers or just say hi.
sometimes I would feel like I hated my own skin, and the rest of the time I feel like a freak because something is seriously wrong, but no one believes me..

Smile Welcome!

Hi ohcherry, This is a good place to come for answers. It has been a life saver for me. I had no idea what I had or how to start to treat it until I found this site. I really dislike saying welcome, when it means that there is someone else with this awful condition, but we all need a place to come and "
"talk" to each other or just vent. I haven't done a lot of venting, but boy could I! We all can!

I read you poll answers and I can understand why you slipped out of the Drs. office. I just mentioned the word morgellons to a Dr. and got this very glazed look and quick exit from her. I have never said that word again! I do the suggested protocols from some of these very smart people on here and have managed to stay sane. (for the time being).

I wish you good luck dealing with the morgs. So sunshine helps you? I never get outside. It is too buggy here in the south. Maybe I should try it? I don't know why, but I just can't stand to see bugs flying around me. DD

Welcome to the site ohcherry and yes if you look in the archives there are many treatments posted there. It seems I had the exact opposite to your symptoms here in England ,if I went in the sun (not that we see it much) I would have raised painful blisters on my face. Also it affected my eyes.Thankfully after using some excellent remedies these symptoms and some others have gone.

ohcherry, I try to be outside as much as possible too. The sun provides natural vitamin D. I live in a very dry climate at 7,500 ft altitude. So opposite of Hawaii or England.

I always wear sunglasses!

I also wear soft contact lenses which requires saline solution every day. I wonder if this is why I've never had problems with my eyes? Does anyone else out there who wears soft contacts have problems with their eyes?

This "morgellons" is so complex. I hope we can figure it out soon!

In the white light,
~jonsi
