Hello I am new and am very scared do I have this!!

Hello everyone,
I am Tylee,
I fear I have this and am going nuts with the crawling all over me. Yesterday I vertually had no symptoms and now tongiht after eating my dinner, egs, steamed veg adn some apricots dried i am freaking out again all over and pubicly the crawling is freaking me out.
I want to ask .......I am sceduled for a colonoscopy in a week and I want to know if I should cancel it. Will getting this done introduce it into my colon into my body and make me worse or will the pre drink help clear me out. I want to know if this procedure will put it into my colon and my insides. I fear my dr. will find something creepy inside of me. I am freaking out. DO I CANCEL IT or get it done. I had blod in my stool with dark brown mucuse when this all egan and htought i shouold get it done in case of something else. PLEASE I NEED TO KNOW IF I WILL BECOME MORE INFECTED ADN SHOULD I CANCEL. i am in tears and all alone here with no money left after spending 3 year recovering from and injury looking forward to a new life and then I got surgery adn now 5 months later......... bug bites on my body and then a week later sever crawling and white specs everywhere. I am in bad shape tongiht and do not know what to do. The lyme disease center gave me tabs for a parasitic infectiion/tapewrms and it helped somewhat and I hae been showering in tea tree oil shampoo and laundering every day and now its all back again. I fear I will not be able to take this anymore..............PLEASE HELP ME SOMEONE I AM NEW AND AM NOT SURE IF I HAVE THIS OR HOPEFULLY SOME B12 DEFICIENTY AS NOTED IN MY TESTS. I am waiting on blood adn dstool tests to come back from lyme disease place but in the meantime I do not know what to do or not do as far as what to take, what to eat not eat, clean with or what.....I am overwhlemed and at the end of my rope...............do i still get the colonoscopy adn what are the guidelines to get rid of this or manage it until I am not insane at least for a while.....help...I am new and very very scared!!

I don't think a colonoscopy will identify "Morgellons".

If your doctor is recommending the scope because of blood and mucous in your stool, you might have cancer. I say proceed with the tests. Hopefully you will find treatment for what you are going through.

However, if the colonoscopy shows no cancerous results, do some research on this site. I use col-san (colosan for colon hygiene).

I would go ahead and have the scope if it were me. There might be a good reason for the scope.

As Jonsi said..I would check out the treatment part of this site and start to do some protocol. It can make you feel better, especially the bathes might help with the crawling, biting sensation and that is a plus! You will decide what is best for you, and good luck with the colonoscopy. I had one, they are not so bad. DD

I say it's a definite to keep your appointment and get the test done. It cannot hurt anything and it might put your mind to rest to know if something is going on.

Tylee, I can really relate to what you're going through. I began with the "something is moving on me" late last Oct. BUT GET THIS TEST DONE. Could save your life.

I have to have a Colonoscopy every 5 years due to it being on maternal and paternal side of family. My 5 yrs. came due again in April and I cancelled saying I would reschedule soon.

I was just so afraid of all the white stuff and fiber debris coming off of me.
Not knowing if it can be passed from one to another, I didn't want to give this to anyone. Plus, the prep the night before is awful for me. I have to line the bathrom floor and wear depends. Literally, it pours out of me. By time 10pm comes around I am so beat I can hardly get in the shower. I have never known of anyone else who has this issue. 5 years ago I said the next time I was going to stay overnight in the hosp. becuase the prep is too hard for me. I have chronic pain and profound fatigiue.

I do have it scheduled now though. Get it done. I know of someone I love dearly and can't express how much I miss, who may be alive today had she had a colonoscopy done before it reached Stage 3.

The cleaning out of yur colon that you have to do for the test is a GOOD thing to do for this condition. I am sorry to say it is very likely "internal" already, and the citrate of magnesium may help to clear it out.

and thankyou for your posts so kind and honest.
Ih ave had 3 colonoscopies odne over a 5 year period dur to anoter condition etc and i was on polyethylene drinks for over a year to keep me regualr---long story...I thought I had read that polyethylene had something ot do with Morgellons--(poly fibers ) is that right cos maybe with all that polyethylene in my system maybe i got it from taht over the past 5 years and now i am going ot drink it again. my flora is bad and my vitamind D and B12 is bad low so I am worried for the above reasons plus the fact it will take all the good bacteria out of me..............again.
any thougthts on the polyethelene glycol which must be man made crap to begin with...................is there a link with morgellons and polyethylene does anyone know...........?-I am scheducled soon but feel like cancelling but maybe not as 3 in my moms family have dies of stomach, prostrate and colon/intestinal cancer.....................any facts on polyethylene and morgellons does anyone know........?---thanks---Tylee

Hi, Tylee -

You are referring to what Dr. Staninger found when she had the fibers analyzed back in 2006. Polyethylene was one of the substances.

Silicon and silicone were other substances, and women who've had breast implants seem to get Morgellons more often. See Dr. Susan Kolb's website - she is a plastic surgeon who found a lot of her patients who came to her for implant removal had Morgellons.
