I do believe this happened to me. I had slight, annoying, symptoms of candida for a number of years, as if I was imbalanced in some way (itchy, ringing ears), eczema on the hands at times, etc. I had a long history of antibiotics and I know now that I am hormonally imbalanced (low adrenals, seratonin, etc).

I stayed in a moldy room during a vacation and that started the severe candida overload... with 3 rounds of antibiotics to help it along.. I felt like death.

Hey everyone!
Sorry I have not posted but I want to say I appreciate all of your support and kindness.
As far as mold is concerned, I don't think they have any that I know of. I know their last house did and I used to live in that house for like 10 years until I moved out of town for school and decided not to move back as of yet. They moved to this new house like in 2003-2004 and its fairly new home with no problems that I know of. I am the one who started with the symptoms out of town a year and a month ago. I would call crying all the time and they were so worried about me. I showed them several links on "M" and they thought that it wasn't something that I had. When they visited me last year when I first got this I was so scared to see them but they were unwilling to leave me alone and they hugged me etc even though I wanted to stay far away. Since that day the itching started for them not so much for the baby. Once they left they never mentioned it unless I would visit. There is a certain couch here that they say they feel gives them the creepy crawlies. I don't know if certain material holds on to this morgs more than others. I don't get that feeling on that couch but they do. It's so odd how all this works. My sister told me the baby began with symptoms like 4 months ago or so. With welts and scratching. The bath I gave him seemed to help but I still see him scratch every now and then. Less though which is good. Also, he turned 2 in April and he still doesn't talk and we believe we see signs of autism in him. He yet has not been diagnosed but we are going to take him next month to see some specialists. This is so sad. Too bad we didn't know about the vaccines before. We are taking day by day and hope there is some kind of cure or remedy soon. Thanks for the support. Talk to you guys later!!

I was also very outspoken when I realized what was going on with my body. I have some family members who don't stay away and will hug me, some that come around but don't oppose to me not wanting to hug for fear of transmition. Then I have more who comply to my wishes and don't come to my house, nor I to theirs and this I think is more related to young children and pregnancy.

I get really sad sometimes because I miss them all so much but right now everything about this "thing" is an unknown. I've read "speculation" saying it isn't contagious and others which says it is highly contagious. That gives me no choice but to do unto others as I would have done unto me. I stopped going to church Sundays also and have the Sunday Services MP3 mailed to me via snail mail
