| Hi ..has anyone used Gentian Violet, it was used for impetigo before antibiotics were made, its anti fungal, antibacterial, anti prozea. It stains the skin but washes off a few days later, its used for thrush in the mouth & nipple thrush when breast feeding so is safe for babies, except the baby has a purple mouth for a few days. ![]() I've tried to bye it in pharmacy but they don't stock it so am googleing to see if I can buy in U.K. its cheap so worth a try, I would'nt recommend it for face, unless of course you go into hiding for a few days!! I know we always had some in our medical box when I was a kid, I used to see kids with purple dots On face & pray I never had to go around like that. If I can get hold of some I will tell of results. Would appreciate anyones comments on it though.....Spots |
