I am new and scared.

Hi everyone.

I've been ill for the past few months. I went on vacation and believe I was exposed to mold. I also was bitten by several mosquitos during that time, so it's difficult to say what started everything. I started feeling bad, and after being treated by doctors with several rounds of antibiotics, I was left with a full-blown, systematic yeast infection. I have been fighting that and making progress.

I recently discovered a "lesion" on my hip - but I first assumed it was some type of pimple or boil. I'm not sure what it is, but it's not healing. I've been taking epsom salt baths to help with the candida and didn't notice anything unusual.. until last night. Last night, I saw some black specks in the water. I have been following this morgellons site for awhile, because I have been having a little itchiness, rashes, and "biting" sensations, and all my research points to here. I really thought my skin problems were related to the detox. Today, however, I rubbed some ponds cold cream deeply into my arms, and a few black specks and small black fibers came out. I left the cream in, and I see more black specks surfacing.

So, obviously, I am very freaked out, and I am not sure what to do next.
I've been using the cold cream off and on for the last few weeks, and never saw this happen before today. I didn't start getting "biting" sensations/rashes until I started taking Olive Leaf and I didn't see this strange boil/lesion until I had my first colonic. I just had a second colonic yesterday and now I am seeing the black specks.

I am scared!

You can do a search most any subject as you probably already know. I'm sorry to hear about you having the black specks, that's a good indicator of Morgellons.

Grab a chair, get some coffee and PM someone. Or someone PM Gigi and make her feel at home?

We're all here for you... what can we do to ease your mind?

GiGi... I hear you Girl. It happened to all of us "Suddenly" and we don't know where to go, but we are all trying to get there. First of all, let's stop and appreciate the fact that none of us have the same symptoms. Read alot, give careful consideration to others suggestions as to how to get better. Don't flip out, take it from somebody who is a pro at this... follow your instincts and don't feel guilty if you feel like you are becoming narcissitic, OCD becomes part of it. Hang in there and think positively, chances are you don't really have M but you will learn alot of helpful stuff..

Hi Gigi,
Please try not to be afraid. It's good that you've been reading this forum. There is so much information here, you'll probably become addicted to it as most of us because of that. We are making great progress in finding out what some of the players of this disease are, so be thankful that you are just becoming symptomatic now (I think and hope this is true) Many people have become symptom free from using different protocols here. I personally doubt we all have the same thing, although we could have some common denominators. Hopefully you will be able to be cured before long so you can not worry.

Welcome!....I totally can understand how you are feeling...WE all do...since we all have gone through this....

This disease is just too unbelievably weird it's very hard to cope with....but you have found the best place at the internet...this forum....to find all the support, care and love you need.

If you go to the 'Morgellons Treatments' section you will find all sorts of treatment steps and helpful information. Believe me..this helped me tremedously in the initial phase too in order to find out how atleast to 'deal' with this all...

Just put that in the 'search box' and it will pop up....

Please try to stay calm..I know it's not easy..but you can come here any time you want and ask any question you have..please do not hesitate...there is no need...WE are family, you understand?

I don't know if I contracted this from the colonics itself (water? environment?) since my immune system is struggling right now, or whether it just released something that was already brewing inside me. I seem to have read from various places that some people started to notice symptoms after a cleanse. With the first colonic, I had released so many toxins that I was ill for awhile. I became extremely fatigued after eating, so it really felt like my liver was on overload, which could have been the cause of the various rashes (toxins coming up through the skin). This last one I felt so much better after getting rid of so many toxins, but now, I have the specks coming up through the skin. It's so weird. I rubbed lotion into my forearm last night, then I get a strange sensation of something on my skin. I look, and there is black debris sitting there. You can just watch and see them pop up through the skin!

It's very frightful and it's been hard to get my husband's full support. He's been through the last few months with me trying and failing to get help from doctors with my problems, so I've been OCD regarding my health the last few months. So, he's kind of tired. Now that I was starting to feel better - this happens. His solution to it all is to stop worrying about it and stay off the internet. He says there are probably lots of reasons for black stuff to come up through the skin??? and if I'm worried about it, to go see a doctor.. ?? So, how do I get him onboard with me? I plan on self-treating with or without him (like I have been doing). I am seeing a naturopath already, and I will have to mention this to her, but I don't think she has any experience with it.

It wouldn't hurt to go see a doctor if you haven't already done so. It would be great if you have one with an open mind and who is progressive. Those are a needle in a hay MOUNTAIN here.

That way, when the doctor turns out to be clueless ( which will probably be the case ) you can say....I HAVE been to the doctor. And just continue helping yourself as we have here.

People usually have the mindset that if the doctor doesn't know...then there's nothing wrong with you. It's in your head. Or nothing can be done.

Best advice from me is to not talk about it and go on the internet when he's not around.

Also remember the 'men are from mars, women from venus' book.....they want to fix it and if they can't they get annoyed.
