Just found this site and am still wondering what to do. My daughter has Morgellans, and has been accused of being everything but sick by all doctors we've seen. No where on the previous sites have I seen anything like she gets out of her body. We have taken samples to doctors and they won't even look at them; say they don't have access to a microscope, even in hospitals. Has anyone found a doctor that will say they are sick and can't work, so they can get disability?
My daughter has gone from being a discus thrower in school to a weakling, that can't hardly mop the floor. She had her appendix out, and they kept her an extra day and gave her two units of blood. She didn't bleed during surgery; it's these parasites eating her alive.
If anyone knows of a doctor that will examine her, and verify Morgellans, or someplace where we could send these bugs to have them verified, I'd like to know.
I read one posting on here that suggested "grouping" together. I'd even like to start a support group, as I live close to Kansas City.
It really hurts to see your child (grown woman now that has had this stuff for 9 years) being ate alive and you can't stop it.
We went to Dr. Amin, and after buying $600 of his "cure" I just got a flatter pocketbook. We have tried so many different remedies, and nothing has really helped. I'd like for a medical person to see what I have seen, and then tell me she needs mental help!
I'm sorry, but, yes! I am angry! More so at the medical profession for treating us as if we are wasting their time. If anyone can recommend a doctor, or laboratory that will accept these bugs and verify she does have them, please! give me the name and address. We are desperate! Thanks.

First, please start a separate thread about starting a support group in Kansas so that it will get noticed. (Could be missed inside another thread). Having been in a support group going on 9 months, I have to tell you there is nothing like it. One of the worst aspects of this thing is the feeling of isolation and rejection!

Next, there are several research organizations studying Morgellons that would probably be glad to get the samples. The MRF, Dr. Wymore at OSU, Dr. Staninger are a few that come to mind.

However, diagnosis won't be made on the basis of samples sent in. I suggest Ginger Savely in San Francisco, as she has examined probably more Morgellons patients than anyone, and has excellent techniques for confirming the diagnosis. She is not an MD, but she does have a doctorate (her training was in nursing). I believe you might be able to get Dr. Stricker (an MD) to "second" the diagnosis if you go to her.

As you well know, though, Morgellons is not truly recognized as a legitimate disease despite the CDC study, the letters that went to state health depts, and the listing on the NIH website. So the diagnosis by a health care practitioner would be more for your own satisfaction.

Sorry CDJ. Please believe we all know exactly how you feel.
When you have Morgellons in your life you realise the world is not what you thought it was.
I've given up waiting for them to ever accept Morgellons,never mind cure it.
But thats OK because it doesn't respond well to their drugs anyway.
A complete change of Lifestyle is the only way I'm afraid
Get rid of the chemicals and deadly toxins we call food and cleaning products.
Eat local organic produce.Filter your water and do a detox .
I'm better at preaching this than I am at actually following it myself but that why I know it works.
As soon as I slip up my symptoms return.

Perhaps you have "just found this site", I have also just found this site.
Your daughter with Morgellons is what made me interested in your site, having lost three of my children to cancer, I think I know how one feels when something devestating like Morgellons strikes anyone.
I have been researching Morgellons since 2005 using Resonance Analysis which is outside of conventional medicine practices and I know what the root cause of Morgellons is, even though I am not a medical professional or scientist of any kind. My last statement may be enough to turn you away as you mentioned that you are looking for a medical professional.

First, you gotta tell what the root cause of morgellons is.

It's no secret, I have already said what the cause is on a number of occasions. I don't have time to spend anwering people who, I can understand, have lots of time writing on these websites. Furthermore there are too many who more interested in sarcastic comments than in exploring what many will say is nonsense.
If suffereres of Morgellons will look back into their present and/or past, they will recognize that they were or are presently exposed to mold and more specifically SLYME MOLD which I detect in people with Morgellons and which I have detected from a sample of the fibers. What you need to do is search out people who use The Electromagnetic System for Resonance Analysis which can not only detect Slyme Mold specifically but also kill it within hours. This equipment is not approved by the FDA nor the medical profession and is frowned upon by the pharmaceutical industry as a threat to their whole business of commerce. Even though I am offering this therepy at no charge or harm to anyone, people like yourself continue to be sceptical. Killing the mold is just the beginning of recovery as the body's own immune system must now proceed to repair the damage that was done by the mold fibers which have infested the whole body and must be expelled by the immune system which is a long and process.
I continually see Morgellons sufferers pleading for help but their cries for help are aimed at a medical community that has yet to identify the cause. Furthermore, physicians appear to be afraid to go anywhere within 10 feet of a morgellons person. Morgellons has become a huge commercial market.
