Smile Hello I'm a newbie from UK

Sorry all best not post as I have been depressed and don't want to make others feel low.

Hello, Jaygee,

Yes, we all are psycho since we all have lesions which others can see and fibers others can see as well. Oh and yes and we itch. Everyone knows only a psycho itches.

We have a few people from the UK here. Carla is our wonderful moderator here as well as fellow sufferer.

Glad you joined us. You're no longer 'on your own' so read through our threads and posts and the treatment steps. If you have a specific question try (from the home page) doing a word search and I'm sure you'll come up with some good information.

In good future health,
Kritters

Well Jean,

You are most welcome and I'm so sorry to hear you are so disabled with this. That people have to go through pain and suffering because of 'those in charge' of the medical profession are heartless idiots makes me insanely angry. It's wonderful that you can maintain your sense of humor. If we can laugh at it maybe we can conquer it.

Best,
Kritts

Jaygee -
Yours is the third post from a brand new person I've read today. Two on this board, one on another. They are almost all the same, they always are. Mine was like yours, almost two years ago.
Not only did other people think I was crazy, I began to think so myself. I also thought I might actually be dead and in hell.
Nothing in life can really prepare a person for something like this. It is all consuming, terrifying, painful, alienating...
BUT...YOU CAN get better...physically and mentally. Just hang on, stick close, read, write, try things, pray, and believe.
You have people here who understand, even if friends, family, and doctors don't.

Jaygee you really must speak with carla the mod she lives in Liverpool and can tell you a real horror story when she went to see an infectious disease expert.
I am in Leeds and have a few of your symptoms inc angina. In fact the only sane person I have spoken to about this is my cardiologist who believes me....but cannot do anything now that they have drawn the lines in the NHS. He can only treat heart patients. Seems like the dermy's and parasitologists get their money for nothing only piddling around with eczema etc.

Hi Jay ,
Nice to meet you. I'm glad you have the sense not to take the physc drugs.
I've been to see the top infectious disease doctor in Liverpool.
He is a government advisor so I should have known than to put my hopes up.
He believed me in the first appointment, promised to help me but was was warned off.

Hi Jaygee.... I also live in the UK and have had similar disasterous experiences with dermatologists and infectious disease specialists... But I do have a very good and caring GP who although he knows nothing about the disease does his best to help me. I also go to see a Lyme Disease consultant in Hemel Hempstead.. He does'nt know much but again at least tries to help. Very expensive tho;

Good luck and battle on.. There are lots of things you will find on here to try which do help to alleviate symptoms. Just need to win the pools ! lol.

Hilly x

JG -

It is really criminal the way that our suffering is exploited. So many of us have gone broke buying one snakeoil after another.

Not to say that some remedies don't help alleviate symptoms, but there are some real red flags to watch out for:

- ANYTHING that claims it will "cure"
- Most things that are very expensive but available only through one or two people
- Things that hyped but there are no studies or even testimonials
- Whenever "hard sell" tactics are used.

There are certain things like RIFE, Dr. Overmann's Zapper, and FarInfrared that are obvious exceptions. These things can be on the more expensive side but have been around a long time and have been used by many people with good effect.

We are fish in a barrel for the greedy sociopaths out there. Anytime you hear about something that you are considering and it is expensive, discuss it here before you lose your money.
