| Hey you, bigdad, I haven't had "health" insurance for four years now. MD's are clueless and pharmaceuticals are worthless in the long run. Back in 2005 my Medical/heath insurance cost me a lot (out of pocket my health care plan, Blue Cross/Blue Shield was $400/month for my daughter & me, my boss paid another $400 a month for a total monthly premium being $800/month). I went to four MD's (dermatologist, psychiatrist, internal medicine and emergency/urgent care specialist) to figure out what was wrong with me and they all said I was "delusional". Soon after I found that homeopathic/naturopathic medicine does work! And homeopathic/naturopathic medicine is much cheaper than paying for "insurance" (what a bureaucracy of government and insurance meddling with the money that should go directly to the MD who actually treats us). No wonder the MD's don't recognize "Morgellons", they don't have the time or knowledge of homeopathic/natural medicine because they aren't paid for it! Long story short: insurance doesn't mean that you are getting the best care. As Kritters said: "Please spend an incredible amount of time reading past and current posts on this forum. I truly believe you will find great information and resources for getting your health back." Bigdad, don't give up hope and glad to see you here ![]() In the white light, ~jonsi

| Brian, l've come to realise you don't need expensive herbs and supplements to heal yourself.(good thing too because they are being taken from us in a few months codex_alimentarius ) Common plants that we usually refer to as weeds are full of natural nutrition. My mum makes me Nettle soup and it taste amazing.Much better than the chemical laden crap we get from cans.Everyone should check this out.At least in preparation for the inevitable food shortages heading our way. |

| Hi Brian, Welcome to the forum. Here’s the links to a couple of beginner threads along with some suggestions to relieve symptoms. You can do this with some relatively inexpensive materials: Living with Morgellons-Treatment Suggestions Some additional suggestions for nutritional supplements which might help (Walmart has some good prices). This member has posted additional information on other threads as well--you might want to look them up under his name. I know he has also posted on other threads that he obtains many of his supplements by ordering from Puritan’s Pride as they have good prices: nutrients / supplements for producing collagens and keratins Here is a thread entitled FAQ: Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) I hope something in these suggestions will help you take care of yourself inexpensively. Some items can even be considered groceries, such as vinegar and baking soda: White Vinegar, a possible cure for Morgellons? A thread on Diatomaceous Earth which is pretty inexpensive and some members seem to feel it helps: Has anyone tried Diatomaceous Earth? Best to you--and keep searching for other suggestions. These are just a few of the many posts I could find. tcm
