Post Hello from Georgia

I tried to post here yesterday, but it wouldn't let me, so here goes again.

I am really not feeling well this morning. I am having a lot of shortness of breath...does anyone else have these symtoms?

As my title says, I live in Georgia. I am married, have three children and 6 grandchildren. So far I am the only one that has morgs. this has just happened to me last month (as far as I know) I suspect that I have had lymes disease for many years though. I am very careful about cleaning and treating myself. I have all of you to thank for the information to start doing the things that I needed to do for myself and my husband. Hopefully he won't get infected.

I do have a question for all of you, do you allow people to visit you or have you cut everyone off? My sister wants to come and visit from out of state and I am terrified she and her friend will get these horrible things. Also my children. I haven't told any of them that I have this yet. I can't decide to share that with anyone because I know my life will change drastically, as if it hasn't already.

I have a really large house and I am afraid I won't be able to keep up the work required to keep it clean. I am not young, and I have other issues besides these morgs. I started having mobility problems a few years ago that has limited me in many ways.

Last but not least, I have no idea how I got this condition. I was homebound for about three months before it started. I had not even gone outside during that time. It is such a mystery to me. I want more than anything to be rid of this, as I am sure all of you do.

My Dr. said it was scabies to start with, but I already knew it was not. I did my homework even before I went to her. I haven't been back since I treated with the permethrin and didn't accomplsih anything. I will go back to her and try to sound sane (Ha!) and explain as well as I can what is going on. The feeling of something under your skin moving, and this freaks me out, the stinging, the red spots etc. I am also going to ask for a Lyme disease test. Probably won't do any good, but I will try.

I think it is a shame that our medical profession treats everyone with this as if they nuts. An even bigger shame our govt. is doing nothing to help. Where will it end?

I want to thank all of you on here for the information you provide. It is all we have to guide us, thank you. Dizzy

Dizzy Dame ,I'm sorry your having a hard time.
I have had this for five years and the questions your asking are ones that I have constantly asked myself over that time.
Most of us can see that our family members are infected in some way.
I am willing to bet that the problems which made you housebound were symtoms of Morgellons.
Most of us come to realise that we have had this for a lot longer than we first thought.
Welcome to the mess we are all in together.
I'm just begining to get the shortness of breath symtoms now.

Dizzy and Carls,

Do you get heart palpatations with your shortness of breath? Sometimes I can't even move off the sofa. Inhaling slowly and exhaling slowly sometimes help me, but other times nothing helps. Since I've begun taking zinc and magnesium (as per Doglover) I have only had them once in two months (I used to get them frequently... at least once per week) and that time I also had a major herpes outbreak.

Carla, thank you for the reply. I appreciate all feedback.

Kritts, I haven't had the heart palps. lately, but have done so in the past. I feel very bloated today and as if I swallowed A balloon or something even bigger. I think I need to watch what I eat for a few days. That might have something to do with it. I gave up sugar completely after reading on this web site. There must be other things I need to give up?

Oh and Carla, I think you may be right about the morgs causing my mobility and all the other problems I started to have several years ago. I didn't know what was going on and my Dr. was no help. I guess they thought at my age I could expect to have problems, even though I had been very active until wham! Dizzy

Dizzy, welcome to the forum.

You should start rife treatment using a frequency generator. This will be the only way to get rid of lyme's and morgellons i think. I am having good success.

My vitality is returning. Yay.

Hi Dizzy Yes I started coughing 18 yrs ago ,before i got the lesions,my doctor diagnosed me with asthma, I coughed all night & used to feel so drained at work, I used to have to lay in bed all wkend to recuperate. I think what the coughing is doing is trying to rid the body of parasites & eggs & you just keep swallowing eggs down to the stomach, hopefully you've dewormed yourself, I took worm tablets every fortnight for months, I still take a worm tablet every now & again, so scared they'll come back,S.D...

Hi spotted dog, I just sent you a pm. I hadn't seen this before I sent it. Are you saying that you are no longer having symtoms of the morgellon? Oh my gosh, tell me what you did besides the wormer, and where did you get it? (what kind)Somebody clue me in. I am not wanting to go to my Dr. yet. (again).

Thanks for any advice that you have....Dizzy

Hi Dizzy,

I'm in the Atlanta area. Nice to meet you. Hang in there, there's a bad period in the beginning and then it gets better.

Hi Dizzy, I'm no way free of the symptoms,I haven't any worms or eggs coming out of joints now but I still have fibres, not many red & blue ones now just white ones, they are getting smaller, but I look a real mess, skin is scarred where some have healed, no pigmentation, but I've loads of big holes, ulcers, that never seem to heal, I've had it for 18yrs,skin is thickened from continual scratching, I scratch in time to music sometimes...
You are lucky to of found this site, its helped me, the grapefruit seed extract is helping, also colloidal silver.
hope this helps ps; still have fatigue....spotster
